In the follow-up to Risking It All, hailed by Lauren Layne as “the perfect escapist read,” the heartthrobs of the Naked Men blog and podcast get a little too real about friendship, love, and sex. For one wealthy bachelor, the trouble starts when all three collide. . . .

After narrowly surviving a bus crash in high school with his best friends, science geek Knox Davis resolved to become so successful that he could have anything and everything he wants. Now he’s über-wealthy, a huge business success, and a notorious ladies’ man. Knox refuses to limit himself to one woman, but when his latest conquest—a blond beauty from the Alaskan bush—challenges his superficial ways, Knox begins to see the world through her eyes, and finds he likes what he sees.

A nurturer at heart, Madison Abbott wants to put down roots. She left Alaska to meet Mr. Right—and to track down Logan, the half-brother she’s never met. Instead, she finds Knox. Although the sexy-as-sin bachelor may not seem like marriage material, Madison’s starting to think that Knox is The One. But Knox refuses to settle down, especially once he learns that Madison is his best friend’s little sister. Now it’s up to her to convince Knox that she’s everything he really wants.

Chapter 1
Present Day

Hot blonde with D cups by the light pole. Easy pickings, judging from her strapless dress and lack of a bra. But Knox didn’t like to shoot fish in a barrel. Well, not anymore. Not since gaining four inches from his high school height and thirty pounds of muscle, and ditching the stupid swoop of bangs only his mom had adored.

So he turned his attention to an average-looking brunette handing off her keys to the valet. Nice legs. Legs that Knox could picture wrapped around his waist. And when she smiled at the valet, she looked interesting. Smart. Smart enough to know the difference between Chardonnay and Riesling. Knox looked up at the June sky. The sun still blazed in D.C., even though it was close to six. So they could start with drinks, and then decide if dinner was on the table . . . or if she’d be the first course.

Knox smoothed the lapel of his pale blue sport coat. Moved across the red carpet that led from the front door of the W Hotel out to F Street.

And almost lost an eye. A metal rod flew at his face. A quick dodge saved his eye. But from the corner of it he saw a woman lunging after the rod, straight into rush-hour traffic. Knox grabbed her waist. Used all his strength to change her trajectory from going heads-up with a row of black SUVs that screamed Secret Service detail and pulled her into his body instead.

He noticed a bunch of things, right off the top. Her height—taller than average by at least a couple of inches. Tons of silky, golden hair that the wind splayed against his face. Not that he minded. Breasts, big and firm and delectable, that brushed the top of his arm. And her heft. No skin and bones fashionista. Not a gaunt and sleep-deprived political intern. No, she had actual muscles that he could feel fighting against him. This was one awesome armful of a woman.

“My phone,” she wailed.

Knox lifted her off the ground to make it easier to carry her off the curb and onto the hotel’s red carpet. “The phone’s replaceable. A new kidney, on the other hand, not so easy to come by.” He could tell the exact moment that she actually noticed the traffic. Because she froze. Confident she wouldn’t lunge into the street again until the light turned red, he set her down. Didn’t let go, though. It’d only be polite to keep her upright until the shock of almost being run over passed.

Mystery hottie spun in his arms. Eyes the color of his favorite Darjeeling tea blinked rapidly. “You saved me.”

“Well, it reflects badly on us locals when we let tourists get injured.”

A golden brown eyebrow quirked upward. “What makes you think I’m a tourist?”

If she had a tour bus seat attached to her ass it couldn’t be more obvious. “There’s a camera bag at your hip. You’re wearing an i heart dc T-shirt, with an American flag in the heart. A local wouldn’t be caught dead in one of those even on the Fourth of July. Oh, and you almost blinded me with that stupid selfie stick.”

“Well observed, Sherlock.” Her tone was genuinely impressed rather than sarcastic. So Knox kept going.

“That’s not all I noticed.”

She tossed her long hair back over her shoulders. “I doubt there’s anything left to notice about me.”

“You smell like honeysuckle. You’re not shy.”

Bright red lips parted on a gasp. “How can you possibly tell that?”

“The loud T-shirt, for one.” Knox hoped his next observation wouldn’t scare her away. “More to the point, you haven’t eased back from me yet. In fact, you’ve put both your hands on my chest.”

“Maybe I wanted to check out the muscles that hauled me away from near-death.”

Knox liked this woman. Liked her take-what-I-want style. Her brashness. “Maybe we should start with exchanging names before you name my pecs.”

I absolutely loved and enjoyed reading the marvelous and fabulous contemporary romantic novel written by the phenomenal author Christi Barth. I received an ARC from Random House Publishing Group Loveswept through NetGalley. Madison Abbott moves from Alaska to Washington D.C. for her dream job as a Librarian at the Library of Congress, to find Mr. Right and get married, and to meet and have a close relationship with her half-brother. Madison meets Knox Davies, a sexy, handsome hunk, who is known for having sex with a variety of women, and after spending time with Knox wants to see if he is husband material. Knox wants nothing to do with relationships, commitments, and definitely not marriage. Even though Madison is unique, Knox keeps telling her over and over again this is temporary. Read the beautifully written, highly recommended story with entertaining and captivating characters, a wonderful story line, entertaining and charming love story of Madison and Knox.

This is the second book in the Naked Men series and it was fantastic! Each book is easily read standalone. Knox Davis and his high school buddies survived a horrible accident on a soccer team trip to Italy. One of Knox's fears was dying a virgin and he vows to correct that as soon as possible. Now years later he's living and enjoying life one woman at a time. He dates often and rarely repeats. That is until he meets Madison. Madison is new to DC, straight from Alaska. She may have grown up sheltered from some of the things the city throws at her but she knows what she wants and she wants it all. First on her list is to find the man she only recently learned is her brother. Second, find "The One". She meets Knox almost immediately who introduces her to her new roommate and a new great friend. Seems like things are falling into place nicely. When she discovers that Knox is actually very close friends with her brother she is certain fate has set her on this path to accomplish all her goals. Knox however isn't so sure about any of this. Especially once he finds out Madison is actually Logan's sister. Bro code and all. This is a fun and witty story of the journey these two travel to their HEA. It's highly entertaining and definitely a book I recommend.

Another great story by Ms Barth and her series, Wanting It All. This one is about Knox and Madison. Knox is one of the young man that survived a bus crash in Italy while playing in a soccer tournament. While the others came from wealthy families, he was the one with a scholarship, hand me downs and very poor. Though his best friends, who are like brothers, were not at all affected by that, he was. As he became a multimillionaire adult, he still feels that there will never be enough money so his motto is one of the more money he makes , the better. In comes Madison who just moved to DC from Alaska . She moved to DC not only for a job offer in the Library of Congress, but also because she wants to find a husband. On her first day she meets Knox literally by accident and there is immediate attraction. He is NOT interested in marriage of Madison is confident she will change his mind. I really enjoyed the book, though at times I found Madison being too pushy and unreasonable. Still, enjoyable and I am looking forward to the next story in the series. What a great read! The story of Knox and Madison is fun, sexy, hot, and with lot of baggage that they both need to overcome in their lives. Knox may have money to burn and a great group of guys as his best friends, but showing bits of the unsure young boy of his youth that made him who he is just enriched the story and gave it a depth that makes "Wanting It All" a great novel. Then there is Madison who is searching for the brother she never knew she had and is determined to find him. She also wants to get married which is a complete turnoff for Knox. He doesn't do relationships at all. One of the things that makes the story great for me is the guys talk the way you would expect guys to talk. I love the Naked Men series and cannot wait for the next one. They are all stand alone books with each of the five guys having his own story. The interaction with all of them together and each individually getting their own HEA is absolutely how a great series should be written. I highly recommend this one. Thank You to NetGalley and Loveswept for gifting me with a copy of "Wanting It All" and asking for my honest opinion. This is mine. *I was not compensated in any way for my review* 4.5 Stars!

This was a wonderful second book in the Naked Men series. It was fun, heartwarming, and at times heartbreaking. Knox and Madison are so well matched but have such different life goals or "Grand Plan" as Madison likes to say. Just a delightful story of love and friendship and finding out what is really important in your life. ARC provided for an honest review.

Knox is a womanizing millionaire who is determined to increase his revenue and the notches on his bedpost. He never leaves a woman unsatisfied, but a relationship is not something he looking for. Madison has just moved to D.C. from Alaska for a new job and a new future. Setting out to discover new experiences, she is saved from an accident by an intriguing and handsome man. The sparks immediately fly, but could this man be forever material? This book has fantastic characters from Knox and Madison to every member of their group of friends. They are rich and developed and impossible not to become invested in. Madison is confident, sweet, optimistic and compassionate which balances out Knox being driven, assertive and loyal. The writer brings out the passion to a full alarm fire with the love scenes. This is a great story of a self confirmed terminal bachelor being brought to his knees by the right woman. It's well written and you'll find yourself unable to put it down. Received a copy for an honest review.

I read and thoroughly enjoyed the first book in the series and was excited to read about Knox. The idea of a group of men, who have been friends for many years talking out their problems on a blog as a premise was so intriguing. These men survived a horrific bush crash 10 years ago, and their bond of friendship which was firmly cemented and has only deepened over the years. This is the story of science geek Knox Davis and Madison Abbott the woman that literally falls at his feet as he rescues her from the traffic of Washington DC. The book was a fairly quick read and I really loved Knox and Madison, individually and together. What starts out as a one-night stand morphs into so much more. I really loved the humour and the easy banter between all of the characters, particularly Knox and his friends. The friendship offered to Madison who is a stranger in Washington by the other ladies was hear warming. Opposites can and do attract, Knox finally meets the women who can tame his wild ways and makes him few the world differently. Madison wants it all, she wants the happily ever after, she wants to put down roots and have a family. When a secret is unveiled, it threatens to destroy the relationship that Knox and Madison are building; it was an unexpected twist and thoroughly entertaining. There was definitely a romantic and sexy feel to this book and I really liked the secondary characters. I cannot wait to read more about the Naked Men and cannot wait to read more from Christi Barth. I received this book in exchange for an honest review from the publisher through Netgalley.

Wanting It All, A Naked Men Novel, Christi Barth Review from Jeannie Zelos book reviews Genre: Romance,    I hadn’t read the first book but that didn’t matter -this is a series of connected books, each a stand alone so that didn’t matter. I love those, it feels like meeting old friends and its great when you see how leads from earlier books are getting along together. I liked the sound of the story and eagerly dived in. I was in the mood for a straightforward, uncomplicated romance and in a way that's what I got. I found it hard in some ways to accept the “naked men” part – yes, they’d been friends since the accident, and stayed true to each other but in to many ways they were like overgrown schoolboys still.  I found Knox views on women as a bit misogynist. He outwardly valued them but his “no second helpings” stance, and the way he was so proud of himself for getting any woman he wanted was a bit jarring. Then he meets Madison. I wanted to like her – I did like her, but her search for a husband really got old after a while, her insistence on not deviating from her Plan was irritating. She was as bad as Knox in some ways, he didn’t want repeat dates and treated ladies as disposable, she sees every man as potential husband, rather than looking at them as individuals. The story was fun, the group of lads were great in how they supported each other, but at times Knox was too obknoxious for me ;-), shallow, uncaring – then he’d do something that came from the heart, and I saw a glimpse of the man the others loved and respected. Madison's Plan, her intransigent view of not deviating from it at all, and her trying to make Knox fit into the image she visualised of the man she wanted seemed a recipe for disaster. You can’t change a person, love them for who they are not try to mould them into someone else.  I could see with both of them how the influences from each other mellowed their ideas and ways a lot, but I still wondered...were they really right for each other? I need to feel that leads are a match made in heaven so to speak, that they simply Must be together, and I didn’t get that with Knox and Madison. Loved meeting the other characters too, and the idea of the podcasts, but though it was a fun read it made for an entertaining story,  it wasn’t a can’t-put-down read for me. I’m hovering between a three/good read and a four/very good. All the elements were there for a four, the storyline was fun, and the lost/found brother intriguing, but somehow it all felt a little surface based, not much depth to it and thus not much real angsty drama and I do need that. Stars: three, good storylines, but the magic wasn’t there for me. ARC supplied by Netgalley and publisher

Madison Abbott just learned she has a half brother named Logan and he lives in D.C. leaving Alaska behind and heading to D.C. she sets a few goals of her own to start off a new life while living there which include finding a good job, meeting and having a relationship with Logan, and finding a man that would make a worthy husband and having a family she can call her own. Knox Davis may be a successful business man now and living the good life which is way different from his younger years and poor life. settling down to one woman when he could have many is one thing Knox said he would never do. but when he meets the Alaskan beauty Madison Abbott he begins to second guess himself with everything because she could care less about his fortune and wants the man not the money and this makes things a little difficult for Knox when he is used to buying any and everything and that just does not work with Madison. then a situation arises when they both realize that Madisons' half brother Logan is Knox best friend and with this new revelation Knox starts backing away from his relationship with Madison, and she is not having it and is prepared to convince Knox that they belong together and that she is the only woman he would ever need! Would definitely recommend to others to read!!

Sexy, fun and hard to put down! I enjoyed this follow up in the Naked Men series even more than the first one! Can't wait to see Logan come into the picture in Book 3! Madison Abbott strikes out on her own to leave her home in Alaska and relocate to Washington, D.C. for several reasons ... she's wanting to meet the long lost brother she didn't know she had, she has been given her dream library job, and she wants a better selection to work with in finding her future husband. When she runs across Knox right off the bat, she's not sure what to think! Knox Davies is an all around ladies man. He's smart, successful and likes to enjoy it! He likes fancy things, and isn't about to limit himself to just one woman when there is such an array out there for the taking! Instant attraction leads to a first date ... genuine fondness for each other leads to more. Madison winds up setting her mind on making Knox fall in love with her at the same time that he's telling her he's only in it for the short haul. When he finds out that the brother she came looking for is his best friend Logan, he's in an even bigger conundrum!

I was given a gifted copy by NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. Knox is a science geek who always gets what he wants. He is very rich and he has an imperious need to earn even more money to provide for his mother and his friends who had become brothers after a nasty experience when they were younger. Madison is from Alaska and she moves to D.C. to find his half-brother and a husband. It was a difficult book to read because I couldn’t get into the story till 40 pages away from the end. I couldn’t stand the female main character. She was all into everybody-has-to-follow-my-plan. Knox invited her to a trip any place in the world but she didn’t go unless she had a ring on her finger first. Really? Who is going to believe that? Knox’s mum was mentioned in the book but if she was so important for him, where was she? Another thing I didn’t like was acronyms. At the beginning, I googled them but after a while, I was so fed up looking for their meaning, I didn’t care to do it anymore. All on all, I liked the relationship between the Naked Men. And sometimes the dialogues between them made me smile.

Madison is a woman who knows what she wants and sets about getting it. Occasionally she hits a wall or gives into self doubt but not for long. Knox never saw her coming until he was too deep. I loved their honesty between each other and the heat they shared without hesitation. I enjoyed this second book in the Naked Men series and look forward to the others finding their futures. Each story has ended but not totally, and I like how the characters are still finding themselves in the next book. I highly recommend this story and the series. I was given a copy of this story through Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.

This is Madison and Knox's story and so good! Madison has moved to Washington, D.C., from Alaska to begin a new job at the Library of Congress, find and meet her half-brother, and find a husband. Good goals and she is very goal oriented. Knox is a member of the ACSs who suffered a tragic accident in their teens and that accident literally changed the course of his life. He did not want to die a virgin and after surviving decided to hit the gym, get contacts, and start dating...a lot and often and rarely repeats. The perfect "cute meet" has Madison and Knox colliding on the sidewalk and Knox saves Madison from certain harm and the rest is history. The chemistry is off the charts! They talk, they fight, they are combustible together and perfect for each other. What could go wrong? Knox is convinced he doesn't want to ever be serious with anyone, that is a start. Madison is unerringly honest about her goals, even though she is up front about telling Knox he may not be worthy of her (so funny). The ACSs and everyone loves Madison and really who wouldn't! These two were made for each other! This book made my day and once I started it, I could not put it down. I really enjoyed the first book in this series but this one just grabbed me and wouldn't let go. I cannot wait for the next one. **Received this book from the publisher via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review**

The second Naked Men series book had such a strong start. I really love the ACSs (Italian abbreviation for "American soccer survivors")--the dynamic between these guys, and the women who intersect their orbit, is great. Former scholarship student/geek turned bazillionaire fashion plate/tech guru Knox and Library of Congress librarian (!) Madison are absolutely adorable together. For 60+% of the book, I was in love. But...it kinda goes off the rails in the last third or so. While I realize that the person who said yes to a marriage proposal one week into a relationship shouldn't point fingers (in my defense, I figured he 1) was kidding or 2) was insane, and either way, I could easily get out of it later, since the only witness was fast asleep--and we didn't make it official for 5 more months and the actual event was 2 years later--that all makes it more sane, yes?), there were so many, many things that happened in that last third that had me shaking my head. 1) Madison's declaration to all and sundry that she's in D.C. to get married. Um...okay. Not sure you need to tell everyone that quite so fast, especially the commitment-phobic womanizer you just met and started to date, and hey, you're only twenty-four. It's not Regency England, so take a breath, okay? Maybe enjoy living somewhere other than Alaska and your brand new job at the LoC for a few minutes first? 2) Though you could see who her mystery half-brother was going to be about a million miles away, it's still a pretty convenient coincidence. 3) Expecting that previously-oblivious-to-her-existence half-brother to have an instant sibling love connection? Slightly unrealistic. Springing it on the guy 1) at the crack of dawn 2) on a sat phone call from halfway around the world 3) without any easing into it at all and 4) with said half-sister right there, expecting that instant connection? Not fair. Ripping into the guy for not taking it well? Beyond not fair. 4) Mystery half-brother is yelled at, threatened, and then extends a completely insane email invite to his half-sister, whom he still hasn't met in person. What the what? And Ms. I-have-my-brand-new-dream-job considers it? What??? 5) My brow is still furrowed from Madison's and Knox's friends' pep talks toward the end. Were those really supposed to be helpful and supportive? Sigh. Still--such a strong start. Chemistry and cuteness all over the place! Set in one of my favorite places in the world! Madison's a librarian! Jerry's the butler I never knew I wanted! Final verdict? I really do love all of these characters, and Ms. Barth's writing has some truly funny moments throughout. It shouldn't be too hard to put the crazy aside and look forward to book three--Logan's story! ( Giving It All: A Naked Men Novel ) Rating: 3 stars / C+ I received a complimentary copy in exchange for an honest review.

Thank you to Random House Publishing Group - Loveswept via NetGalley for a copy of this book! Wanting it all is book 2 in the Naked Men series. I have not read book 1 and feel this could easily be read as a stand alone! Knox decided after the bus crash him and his best friends were on, that he'd become a very successful adult. Well, he did just that! He's rich, he's a successful businessman and is a playboy! Until he meets Madison! Madison is turning him into someone who cares and isn't so plastic. Madison left Alaska to find her dream man and to find her half-brother, Logan. While searching for Logan she meets Knox. She sees him as the playboy that he is, but there's something there that makes who see the man underneath all that. She can see him as her happily ever after. Now to get Knox to see that, as well! Good book! I enjoyed the characters! Love that Madison stayed herself and didn't turn fake and cater to Knox's plastic world!!

A great story with a tenacious heroine. Wanting It All is book 2 in the Naked Men series but it can be read as a standalone without feeling like you missed anything. The author does an excellent job of letting you know facts about the group of men that the series is about. Each title in the series is about an individual couple with appearances by the other characters in the group. I really enjoyed book 1, which was my first book by Christi Barth, but I loved book 2 which centers on Madison and Knox. We met Knox in book 1; he is the scrawny, geeky kid turned hunky multi-millionaire of the group. Knox has it all now, money, women falling at his feet and a group of men he considers his brothers, but it wasn’t always so. In high-school he was the poor kid who wore hand-me-downs from his friends and he was a skinny geek that most of the kids made fun of. That is until he was adopted by his group of “brothers.” Now, after his mom, they are the most important people in his life. Madison is the new girl in town. She moved to D.C. with several goals in mind: get a great job, find a husband, and connect with her half-brother that she only recently found out about. She meets Knox soon after arriving to begin her dream job at the Library of Congress. They have an instant connection but as time goes on Knox, a love ‘em and leave ‘em kind of guy, doesn’t know what hit him and he gets scared. I loved that Madison was such a strong heroine; she’s a perfect match for Knox, if he will just wake up and realize it. She’s caring and thoughtful and truly enjoys everything she is experiencing in her new environment. She’s a woman who knows what she wants and she’s not afraid to go after it. Ms. Barth’s writing style kept me wanting to read this book straight through; so much so that I got irritated when life forced me to put it down. This series is turning out to be such fun to read. While this book doesn’t end in a cliffhanger – Madison and Knox get their HEA – it left me anxious to read book 3, Giving It All, which will be about Madison’s brother, Logan. Fun, flirty and sexy. “You’re not shy… you haven’t eased back from me yet. In fact, you’ve put both your hands on my chest.” “Maybe I wanted to check out the muscles that hauled me away from near-death.” “Maybe we should start with exchanging names before you name my pecs.” He was the perpetual nerd and charity case, however Knox Davis vowed to himself to lose his V-card, make so much money that he would never want for anything and enjoy all of life’s pleasures after he survived a horrific accident along with this high school friends. Now a successful businessman and infamous womanizer, he’s never considered being in a relationship with a woman for longer than a one night of fun. But when he literally sweeps a blond bombshell of her feet and she in turn captures his interest like no other, he begins to question his resolve to be the eternal bachelor. Madison Abbott moved across the country from Alaska to Washington, D.C. to accomplish three things: get the job of her dreams, meet the half-brother she just recently found out about and find the perfect man to marry and have a family with. She's scored with the first one, on her way to the second, but has gotten a bit sidetracked by the deliciously smart, self-assured and sexy playboy. Can she convince him that they'd be great not just now but forever even if she is his best friend’s little sister? I loved the premise behind the Naked Men blog and after reading Risking it All, the first book in this series, I was really intrigued with the group of men who were already close friends but became even more closely bonded when they survived their ordeal in the Alps. But none more than the self-made millionaire. “He’d waited his whole, lonely, geek-tastic life to finally have friends like this, ho have the camaraderie, the feeling of belonging.” It was a complete delight getting to know Knox and Madison. Each were endearing characters that when together had great chemistry, fun and witty banter that made the pages fly by. I enjoyed all the dates they went on, be it outrageously expensive ones because Knox loved to spend his money to the low key ones because Madison couldn’t care less about his wealth. Of course they all ended up with delicious sexy times. Their relationship developed from lust to love at a pace that felt natural even when Madison was a bit too pushy for my taste. They were a perfect match though, both smart and stubborn who filled the empty places they had. The supporting characters, be them male or female, gave the story a great friendship layer that nicely rounded out the story and has me ready to read the next book about Logan, the elusive half-brother. Wanting it All is the second book in the Naked Men series by Christi Barth. It’s a sassy, sweet and fun contemporary romance, great for a weekend read. Told from both points of view. With a happy ending.

Griffin, Riley, Knox, Josh and Logan are a close knit group of friends that have been inseparable most of their lives. When a traumatic event almost succeeding in permanently separating this band of brothers, each vowed to make changes and live life to the fullest. Wanting It All is Knox's journey. Knox as a youngster, was the odd man out. The skinny guy with the awkward personality and a thirst for knowledge was a prime target for bullies. Loyal friends and his brain are what got him though some of the toughest times in his life. Now, as an adult, he has money, success and an active libido that rivals are his former haters. Still, he isn't satisfied. Madison is a country girl , searching for answers in the big city. She craves for a connection to a family she's never known. She also hopes to find a place she belongs. A chance meeting sets in motion an attraction she can't escape and revelations that could implode all her wishes and happiness. I received an ARC of Wanting It All by Christi Barth in exchange for an honest review. One event changed many lives, some positively, others negatively but it had an effect that was attention grabbing for a group of friends. Ms. Barth, handles the turmoil with gentleness and finesse. She has added another wonderful story to a great series. Facing fear isn't weak, it makes a person stronger for having tackled it head on.
