About the Author

Born in a small French village to an American Air Force Sergeant and a young French girl, Jonathan was transported to the United States as a less than one-year-old baby. Growing up in first in Onset, Massachusetts and later Virginia Beach, Virginia, Jonathan had a wide variety of jobs and professions that ran from ditch digging, carpentry, pouring concrete, laying brick, painting, homebuilding, farming, import-export as well as sales and marketing before turning his attention to the world of fiction. Subjects as diverse as Monty Python, Buckaroo Banzai, Star Wars, Blazing Saddles and History of the World, Part I gave ferment to his imagination and captured his fantasy. A gourmet chef position led to appreciation of good food and fine wine. The last frontier to conquer is the world of fiction, and Penroc chose Science Fiction as a medium to express his view of the world that might have been. War of the Gods gives him full rein in which to introduce the reading public to new characters, fascinating and unique, as the spell-binding saga of Kanati and his friends explode onto the scene.
