Watchmen, Come up Higher!
About the Author Pastor Zam founded the Global Impact Prayer House Ministries in Laredo. Before she ministered fulltime, she taught for the Burmese government. In 1987, she went to India for her further theological study. She taught for Maranatha Bible College in Kalaymyo. When the Lord prompted her to start a compassion ministry, she opened a shelter naming Philadelphia Caring Center where orphans, homeless women and children were taken care of until the family moved to the U.S in 1999. Her husband Pastor John Thang Hum and she have been blessed with three beautiful children-- Muan, Siam, Suum. They often visit Burmese Christians around the world to preach, instruct and disciple. Signs and wonders accompanied her ministry. She is mainly gifted, while extending more houses of prayer locally and globally, in healing and deliverance from addictions, bondage of sin and sorceries. She is a Burmese-American, lives in Laredo, Texas. About the book Zam has a message to tell the world despite the fact that English is not her first language. Having been given boldness to write though, her prayer is for the readers to get inspired for praying and interceding the lost humanity, for reading and meditating the word of God for effective service. Christians are encouraged to better manage their personal devotion and churches to use their facilities as a place of prayer. The hindrances to higher spiritual levels are pointed out: applying the Old Testament Principles to modern time, the uniqueness of intercession like other spiritual gifts, becoming more serious with God, living a prophetic life style, adapting a practical prayer with the postulation: Hell is not a vacation. As the challenge of English proficiency could not stop Zam from writing, this book will encourage, inspire and give practical insights and testimonial to help the readers' day-today prayer life be more effective
