Rush cuts through the biases of the liberal media and tells us what is actually going on. He incessantly reminds us that we are primarily responsible for our own welfare, not the government.

This is not a book of deep political philosophy. It is a common-sense descriptor of information left out by the liberal media. Read this book and learn for yourself the harmful effects of liberal policies.

Clear statements of Limbaugh's positions on politics and the culture wars circa 1991. Advocacy for the re-election campaign of George H.W. Bush (senior), ultimately disappointed by Clinton's election (unforeseen in this volume). Almost all of the commentary and factual information could be transferred to 2008 with only a few names and details changed.

Funny. Bright. A perspective the Canadian media censors.

Typically Limbaugh. Pompous, egotistical and completely tongue-in-cheek.

I bought this book when it first came out and I still read it from time to time. The book is well written and is very entertaining.

Its like all of Rush's best monologues and pears of wisdom packaged into one lovable little fuzz ball of a book. It is the best of Rush in every way. I can understand how at moments, it could appear closed minded (to some crazy lib), but that is really just Rush's true unfailing optomism, which is sometimes misread as arogance. I would highly endorse this book to any Ditto Head! In addition to being right 100% of the time, this book is also rolling one the floor laughting funny!!! Megga dittos all the way!

Rush says it all straight and clear. He echos what the majority of America's want to hear..the truth, which the libs can't take.

Required reading for all americans. This ahould be a highschool and college textbook. Literacy and knowledge would increase and no child would be left behind.

Limbaugh not only explains his point, but also tells one the bases its founded upon. Regardless whether you are politically conservative, moderate or liberal, the book expresses a view based on logic.

I was looking for an eye-opening read... instead I got a closed minded sense of what America is. I only pray that the majority does not support the disinformation that Limbaugh is providing with little or no sincere factual analysis. I was disappointed by the book's lack of basis, and blatant masking of opinions as facts. One star is far too many.

Nothing But The Truth - that's what this book is. It's funny, informative, and factual.

Finally, someone who is not influenced by power or special interest groups. His unbias standpoint on all the issues should be a standard for all Americans to follow. We Americans who truely love this country finally have someone to help defend the public from the left-wing conspirators trying to take over the country and oppress it with their own immoral ideology and irrational stripping of capitolism. Thank You, Rush!

Mr. Limbaugh inspires all Americans to not only be proud of their heritage, but to embrace it and use it to achieve greatness. It's amazing that those blinded by hatred and ideology would cast aspersions on someone so seemingly good-natured and not least of all, correct on the issues.

In "Way Things Ought to Be" Rush Limbaugh embarrasses himself and casts a shameful cloud over the United States. The book represents the conservitive extremism of white Americana. Individuals concerned with decency should keep away from Limbaugh.

I have learned long ago that when this man predictes the political future, you best believe it. This book is an inspiration to all conservatives that are sick and tired of listening to thoses Americans on the left that want to lead our nation toward disaster. Trying to appease your enemy will only get your butt kicked sooner and that is what Rush is trying to prevent.

This has it all. You sit there, reading the book and time just flies by. You can't put it down. He discusses on so many different areas and his commentary is both brilliant and entertaining. A must read for both Conservatives and the doubting Liberal

I have been a ditto head for some years, and Rush's Books are great! I only wish he had written more. But, give him time. I recommend this book to anyone. It is funny, and 'enlighting.' Makes you really think!
