Traveling the American West with his friends, a German and a Native American, Michael Flynn struggles to reconcile history, current events, and his place in the world. The friends blast across deserts and over forested mountains, visiting big cities, small towns, national parks, and Indian reservations along the way. These road trips are physical, but the journey is one of knowledge and self-discovery.
