"A great entry into the [inspiration] genre" -Judge #42 in 25th Annual Writer's Digest Self-Published Book Awards.
This book is helpful for anyone, but especially for those in grief. Working through a journey of discovery with these two authors, the reader can re-assess and re-evaluate beliefs about the afterlife, which can affect how the reader sees, lives in, and responds to the world today. Readers will be comforted to learn that everyone has much invisible, spiritual support and protection. It's compelling to read the two authors interacting. I was also interested to learn from Kym as a professional. I didn't know much about soul fragments, for instance. The glossary in the back of the book was helpful. For example, the idea that there is a record of every thought, action, motivation, and everything else about every soul that ever existed is stored in a huge database is almost too much to grasp. I like the beautiful cover. I notice this is BOOK ONE and so readers will know to look for their next book...I love the author bio. What a hoot! Overall, a great entry into the genre! Kudos!
"Absolutely amazing work" Dr. Kotheimer D.C., Milford, Ohio
I feel very privileged to have read about Beverly's journey in such an intimate way. This book, We Got It All Wrong, is remarkable and opens the eye, the mind and heart to things we all are still learning about, matters of the spiritual realm. There are quite a few concepts in these pages.
I am gladdened to learn that we do retain our personalities on the other side. Eastern religions and other spiritual teachers indicate otherwise. The concepts that we can affect our past lives and the concept that we can approach those who have crossed, even though they may have reincarnated, are also wonderful. These things are possible because time does not exist on the other side! Brilliant! I've wondered about being able to communicate with people if they were reincarnated.
Beverly's courage is remarkable. Reading her father's praise of this courage was very inspiring. This courage reminds of Bilbo and Frodo in Tolkien's books - they forged ahead in the most difficult of situations.
The work of helping souls caught in their ghostly state, to cross over, is of the highest, most noble nature and calling. This is the stuff of true salvation! Many souls made it due to Beverly, Kym and Mary's efforts, along with the crossed souls and others. Absolutely amazing work! --
"A Most Unusual book!" Ron Frazer, Ph.D. ronfrazer.com
McBride and Hafemeister have produced a book that will appeal to several audiences, and therefore is difficult to describe in a single sentence. It is essentially an exploration of the relationships between a woman with severe emotional pain, her medium and various spiritual entities. Beyond that, it is a surprisingly intimate and detailed record of the actual conversations that took place over several years. It also includes a narrative by the two authors, each writing separately, describing their dramatic personal journeys during this time.
The title of the book, We Got It All Wrong, is appropriate. So much of our sadness and fear is caused by our ignorance. We feel fear and sadness because we feel we are alone. But we are not; there are always people, some of whom are invisible, helping us. We Got It All Wrong will change the way you look at life, your past, present and future.
