"Weather Facts and Fun" is sure to delight kids, please teachers and be a welcome addition to any household with curious children, no matter where you live. It’s an interactive, educational, fun look at weather by TV meteorologist, Josh Judge. If your child loves weather they’ll be glued to this book, and perhaps even teaching you new things!

Written in a manner meant to be understandable and fun for 7-12 year olds, it even offers adults information that they may not have known before. You may just learn things you’ve always wondered about, like the difference between sleet and hail.

“Weather Facts and Fun” includes many pictures that show weather at its most beautiful and most destructive. With links to maps and challenges at the end of each chapter, it offers readers the chance to learn about the weather while doing fun activities. Track a hurricane, plot your weather observations, and learn how to preserve snowflakes forever with two common household items!

Concentrating on weather fundamentals around the USA, teachers will find it’s the perfect complement to your students’ weather curriculum.

Author and former PBS host Richard Lederer writes the foreword for the book.
