Must Love Wieners is even more fun than the title sounds. This was such a fun read from start to finish. A couple that just worked great together, some amazing dialog, a little over the top personality, and of course a couple cute pups. It was the perfect recipe for a book I couldn't put down. Piper is a struggling student, trying to make ends meet until she can pass her vet exams and land a real job. In the meantime, she's working three jobs at once and things are just piling up and ready to topple. And topple they do, right into the lap of Aiden Caldwell, a super rich CEO that didn't know he needed to have his life shaken up until Piper does it. When Piper's life begins to crumble around her, and they someone seems out to get her. When clues point to that someone being Aiden - well, there's trouble in paradise. I loved how the suspense element built up. The answer always seemed to be just out of reach. The nice little topper on the cake of this romance was the dogs. Even a bit of romance there when two long lost buddies are allowed to re-connect. Well written and a great story. You won't regret picking this one up.

Weather the Storm by Lisa Mondello Rising Storm Series Episode Seven Bryce Douglas is struggling with some personal issues. Instead of facing them, he buries himself deeper in his work. As a pastor he can help everyone else and ignore his own issues. And he does. Tara Douglas is doing the best she can. Their son was just diagnoses as having autism. Her daughter is acting out because of the attention to their son. And her husband? He's absent. Maybe the town of Storm does need his pastoral help...but she needs her husband's help. I've only read Lisa's episode so far but you will definitely want to start with book one in this series. The town of Storm has a storm brewing in the lives of it's residents. Each book focuses on certain people but they also include continuing issues with those from the previous book. **Sensual content and Language

Welcome to Storm, TX where everyone seems to have a secret or is struggling with something. This episode has somewhat of a cliffhanger and I can't wait to find out what happens next. I received a copy from the publisher for an honest review.

4 - ”We can’t ignore this any longer… We need to talk.” Stars. Without a doubt Weather The Storm has been my favorite novella of the series so far. Initially I was a bit peeved that the Daniels family were being introduced, particularly this late in the series, and considering the plethora of characters and families that already have however many plots and story-lines running through the series already. ”You don’t need to play with fire to get burned. Sometimes you just get burned.” But it was nice to actually read of a regular couple dealing with issues, that weren’t overly dramatized or keeping secrets and telling each other lies, which can pretty much be attributed to almost every other person that I have so far come across whilst reading about the mainly awful residents of Storm, Texas. ”I’m scared… I have been for a long time.” It is a shame that it took so long for a couple with a decent family base behind them and some basic self-respect for themselves to have their story told. Bryce and Tara were a man and a woman struggling, dealt the blow that no loving parent want’s to have to face, in that their son isn’t quite the normal little boy (by generic standards anyway) they thought he was, but still extremely special in his own right. And looking to try and make the adjustments to their life and relationships to ensure that he as well as their young daughter still get the best care and upbringing they can give them. One book left, and Dee Davis has a massive amount of cleaning up to do. My only hope… That Dakota Alvarez gets everything she deserves and then some in the finale! Weather the Storm is the book within this series that is not to be missed. Some heartbreaking news starts to fray the image of a perfect family. Lisa Mondello is one author that takes heartbreaking situations and creates stories centering around characters in situations that are prevalent throughout the world today. The feelings of denial, inadequacy and self blame at this moment could be happening to anyone who is dealing with similar circumstances. I received an ARC of Weather the Storm by Lisa Mondello in exchange for an honest review. Weather the Storm is a moving look at a family in crisis.

I cannot say I was particularly looking forward to this episode; we had only met Pastor Daniels’ family briefly before this, and I wasn’t sure if would be very interested, but then again I was not familiar with Ms. Mondello’s writing. Very early on morning, Patrick Murphy happens to see little Danny Daniels wandering all alone about the town square. Marisol Moreno sees them and rushes to the scene. Danny has recently been diagnosed with autism, and it’s wreaking havoc in the Daniels household. Pastor Bryce cannot accept his son’s condition because he keeps thinking about his own horrible childhood. While about town, Tara Daniels notices that Kristin, her sister-in-law, seems to be going to the pharmacy quite often. And Dakota, still dreaming of becoming Senator Rush’s future wife, realises something huge that might help her cause, one way or another… WEATHER THE STORM is one of the best episodes so far, thanks to Lisa Mondello’s beautiful and very sensitive writing. I became completely absorbed in the story from page one, and she even had me crying at Tara and Bryce’s story. My knowledge of autism is extremely limited, and I believe Ms. Mondello’s portrayal of the trials a family goes through is quite accurate. I also loved how the transition between the various dialogues was seamless. And in spite of her many shortcomings, and what she’s most likely about to do, I am still concerned about Dakota Alvarez’s safety… Episode 8 is going to be epic! WEATHER THE STORM is positively exceptional! I received a complimentary copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
