About the Author

At twelve years old Kim Watters fell in love with romance after she borrowed a romance novel from the bookshelf of her older sister. An avid reader, Kim was soon hooked on the happily ever after. For years, Kim dreamt of writing her own romance novel, but she never seemed to have the time. After graduating from college, she moved into Chicago to pursue another dream of being an actress and a model. Tired after six years of the hustle and bustle of the city, she relocated to a small town in Arizona north of Phoenix where there are no sidewalks or public transportation and the cowboys still ride their horses around. There Kim finally found the time to write. Five published novels and five short stories later, she still lives in that same town with her two children, three rambunctious kittens and one nervous hamster. She’s a member of RWA, NINC, PASIC, ACFW, Desert Rose RW, and Valley of the Sun RW.

A story of Faith Callahn who elopes and leaves the small town of Greer. Fast forward 12 years and she is back with a son and a missing husband. She comes back to help out her folks at the hardware store. Enter Adam Quinn, a friend who grew up with Faith and her husband, and who is suppose to be keeping an eye on Faith to see if her "less than upright" husband reappears. It is a good fast read and although you can see where the story is heading, it does keep you hanging until the end to discover who the bad/good guys really are.

Faith Callahan has returned home to Greer, California. She is the mother of a seven-year-old boy, Matthew. She has been receiving the silent calls since her husband's death. She thinks she will be safe back home with her family. She sensed someone was watching her. Her father had a stroke and needs her to straighten out the family business. Adam Quinn was in love with her when they were in school together. He still cares for her and gladly welcomes her back. The calls continue, and they are escalating. They have gone from silent to threatening. Is her husband still alive? Who is threatening her? Who can she trust? Web of Deceit has it all: deceit, murder, and romance. If you are a fan of a fast-paced suspense that will keep you eagerly turning pages, I highly recommend this book. Ms. Watters is a talented author, and I will be watching for more of her work.
