This concise guide to the syntax of English is both easy to understand and easy to use. It's small scale is also perfect for carrying with you in your pocket if you need to. It covers every important aspect of grammar and punctuation and has two separate sections for usage and abbreviation. The only negative is that it doesn't explain what gerunds and action verbs are, which are easily defined in the common dictionary (a gerund is a verb in the -ing form that acts as a noun) (an action verb is a verb that expresses complete action and is usually followed by a direct and indirect object). I highly recommend this book to anyone who wants to re-learn grammar and be able to right much better, learn how to correctly use grammar, and outsmart the unfortunate person who didn't purchase this book.
