The Wedding Series
Book 1 - Prelude to a Wedding
Book 2 - Wedding Party
Book 3 - Grady's Wedding

Meet three college friends ...

The free spirit: Paul Monroe
Book 1 - Prelude to a Wedding

Charming Paul Monroe has the Peter Pan thing down pat. As an antique toy appraiser, even his work involves play. Which is fine, unless your job is to keep his Chicago business running smoothly . . . and all that charm -- and sexiness -- is aimed at you.

Organization and reliability are Bette Wharton's hallmarks. She handles the toughest clients with aplomb, until Paul provides a challenge that goes way beyond the office. She has a plan and a timetable. How can she let herself fall for Mr. Live-for-the-Moment when all he offers is Love-for-the-Moment?

The best man: Michael Dickinson
Book 2 - Wedding Party

Michael Dickinson is delighted to be best man at his friend's wedding - but there's one complication. Tris Donlin is a bridesmaid. He's wanted her for longer than he cares to remember, but to her, he's just good old Michael - college pal, confidant, best buddy ... Would a few days of wedding celebration let him finally get her out of his system once and for all?

Her cousin Paul's wedding party has Tris's head and heart full of memories of college days with him, Michael and their friend Grady. Grady was her college crush and Michael was her buddy. Now that they're all grown up, my how things have changed.

She's certain she's found the best man for her . . . if only she can convince him.

The last bachelor: Grady Roberts
Book 3 - Grady's Wedding

Grady Roberts has never been the marrying kind - and he still isn't. But after watching his best friends walk down the aisle and start families, flipping through his little black book and ordering take-out for one suddenly seems boring ...and lonely. Yet the one woman who intrigues him keeps him at arm's length.

Leslie Craig is human. She feels the full effect of handsome, intelligent, wealthy, successful Grady's attraction . . . and his loneliness. It's the last element that snags her heart. She's developed a knack for helping people with problems and sorrows without ever revealing her own. Can she do that for Grady?

Or, if he discovers the truth, will he hurt her so deeply she'll never recover?

Praise for The Wedding Series:
"A wonderful series that will make you laugh and cry. Each page is filled with love that will eventually come to the people who so need it. A must read!" – 5-star review
"Perfect. The characters were multi-dimensional and played off each other in warm, thoughtful, loving ways. Each couple faced a different situation and overcame their obstacles together and with the insightful comments of their friends. ... Heart-warming." – 5-star review
"Fun and serious all at the same time. Love how the friends intertwine and add new along the way. It was refreshing to read the different stories and having them all come together. Really enjoyed this series!" – 5-star review
"Full of warmth, understanding of human nature, and great characters. They are connected, following the lives of college friends, and by the time you are finished, you feel as if you are a part of their extended circle. A dash of sex here, but not to the point that it overshadows the well thought out storylines. Definitely a feel good experience." -- 5-star review
"Great love stories! ... Must read all books in the series! ... I laughed and cried! Must read." – From 5-star reviews

How did anyone get through the first book? Nothing happens for about seven chapters. Snoozefest, I gave up and deleted it. Good thing it was free.

4 stars I purchased the three book collection The Wedding Series by Patricia McLinn and Prelude to a Wedding was the first book. This review was given freely. This is a detailed full length novel of rebellion, love, and opposites attracting. The story starts out a little dry and slow featuring structured workaholic business owner Bette and unconventional, flighty, toy appraiser Paul. But, about a third of the way through the action, drama, and romance picks ups making this an emotional and complex read. 3 stars I purchased the three book collection The Wedding Series by Patricia McLinn and Wedding Party was book two. This review was given freely. This full length novel features one of Paul's best friends, Michael ,the chief aide-de-camp for long-shot United States Senate candidate Joan Bradon, and his unrequited love for Paul's cousin Tris. Tris had a college crush on Paul's other best friend, Grady. They all spend a week together at Paul's parent's house the week prior to Paul and Bette's wedding. Humor, dred, anticipation, surprise, and longing are just a few of the emotions you will experience. 4 stars I purchased a copy of Grady's Wedding by Patricia McLinn in the three book series the Wedding Series. This review is given freely. Grady has become dissatisfied with being a player and sets his sights on Tris' co worker, Leslie. Broken childhoods, Maryland and Virginia history, caring interfering friends, learning to love, share feelings, trusting, sterility, adoption, and unconventional families are just a few of the topics in this poignant full length novel with a happy ending. I loved seeing the changes in Grady, Leslie and April.

Enjoyed being a part of the bridal party. Because it is in order it was a pleasure to see the characters development .

The three all have something in common in that they all have mis-understandings of their own feelings as well as those they love, but don't yet realize they are in love. Three books in a row on this topic was a bit much for me, but all were interesting stories.
