I received this book from the Publisher via NetGalley in exchange for a honest review. In Welcome To Hickville High starts the series of a family forced to move to Texas from Illinois to start over in the town that Kelsey's dad grew up in. Kelsey is the oldest of three girls and the main character of the book. her life gets turn upside down when her dad loses his job and they have to move to a small Texas town. As Kelsey gets used to living in the small town and having a handsome young man named Austin around makes her realize that not everything up north is what it seems. I really liked this book and if you live in a small Texas town, you get what she is going through. From having snakes in the chicken coop to having parties in a river, Mary nailed what life would be like in small county towns and I will definitely be reading more of this series to find out what happens next to these three girls! Thank You to Mary Karlik for writing a book that was hard to put down!
