This was really nice because not only was it about the love between a parent and child, but also about how precious a baby is. Babies are a gift from God and should be cherished. I would love every parent to have this on those sleepless nights that drive us crazy. It was also a very calming read for me. This book was one of the most beautiful books that I have read in a long time. It made me smile, cry and thank God for my nieces and nephew. I am giving this book a 5/5. I received this book to review through Beck Valley Books Book Tours, all the opinions above are 100% my own.

Today's world is so full of negativity all on its own that we need to encourage positive thoughts as soon as possible from the start of our children's lives. This book, Welcome to the World by Kanta Bosniak, is the perfect book to start with! I am a firm believer that our babies can hear us speak to them from the very beginning - even from inside the womb so reading to them is critical. This beautiful book will have you smiling and as soon as your baby develops the ability to smile, he/she will be doing that from inside the womb and will emerge smiling with positive vibes ready to take on the world!! This beautiful book is worded so elegantly and thoughtfully that you will be full of smiles from start to finish. The gentle tone transitions a child's spiritual journey of happiness from the youngest moment to adult in order to prevent the infiltration of negativity. This book encourages a reminder to focus on the sights, sounds, feelings and positive energy - all those wonderful little things that we often take for granted. Those are what truly makes life grand!

I wish I had this book when my boys were younger!  The words were filled with love.  You knew from the first few pages that Kanta was speaking from the heart.  It was very uplifting and left me with a smile on my face!  The illustrations are quirky and fun too!

I absolutely loved this book and coloring book duo and so did my children. It was a perfect reading for me to do with them. I also thought it was cute that the author had suggested to even read the book to the baby before they were even born. What a cute and fantastic idea! This story was nothing short of encouraging and uplifting. I found myself needing that at this time in my life and of course around the holidays. Positive vibes did nothing but soar from this book. The book tells your children to do what makes them happy and to find their inner joy. I have a feeling that my children already did this, but to read it to them and to reiterate it felt great. My attitude was so much lighter after reading this book and my children were happy to hear me read it to them. This duo would make a great gift to anyone that is expecting children or has children already. There is so much to get from reading it both for yourself and for your children. You will do nothing but smile the whole time that you are reading it. The world needs more positive things in it and this author just added to that list. Lovely read! Welcome to the World by Kanta Bosniak isn't your normal children's book. It's so much more. It's a quick read and the flowing language is easy for children to understand and follow. Moms can read this to the baby while in utero, as well as newborns. My children are four and six and I've been reading Welcome to the World with them in the mornings and they love the Happy Buttons part of the story. With words of inspiration and encouragement, I found myself smiling while reading this book to my children. Even as it's geared for younger readers, it resonates with adults as well. It also provides us a little reminder of what truly matters in life and what is important in the world. The illustrations in the book keep the kids engaged as well, from the baby to the whale, the large, hand-written words to the lion. All the illustrations enhance the words on each page and my children loved it. I can absolutely see myself buying this as a baby shower gift for a new mom.

I read the book with my niece, she's two and a half. I thought it was very sweet and simply written. She enjoyed the simple illustrations. I enjoyed the focus on the senses and the relatability of most of the metaphors. I really enjoyed the quotes she chose and overall, enjoyed the message portrayed in this book. There are great lessons on exploring and understanding emotions and the world around us. It's very uplifting and positive with lots of wisdom and encouragement. However, I felt references to incense, mountain top temples and mandalas were far above her level of understanding. And probably will be for years to come. IOverall, however, I thought Kanta did a great job and I really enjoyed it.

Who can't use some positivity in their life? I don't know anyone that wouldn't benefit from this book. I don't really know how to properly describe this book other than it was kind of the literary equivalent of getting a big, warm hug. This would be a wonderful shower gift and something an expectant mother could read to her child before and after it's born. It's a beautiful and spiritually stimulating read. It's filled with positive aspects to everyday life on every page. It finds the beauty in everyday things, that people tend to take for granted. I started reading a little bit of it to my son, who is 9, and he thought it was so sweet. Granted, he's an old soul and is 9 going on 35, but his input is always appreciated. It just proves that there is really no age limit on this book.

This book is a very unique children's book. It is perfect for reading aloud since it has a very poetic style of writing. It's actually pretty relaxing. This book is optimistic in the way that it looks at the world. It's a great little guide book to the world that is perfect for young children. The book also introduces the idea of Happy Buttons. Happy buttons are happy little thoughts or ideas that you can pull out of your toy box when you need help cheering up. This is a sweat little book. It has a spiritual feeling without being religious and the ideas are great for any age. I received a review copy in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are my own.

I always thoroughly look forward to reading Kanta Bosniak's insightful words in her books.  They speak to the heart and mind so clearly that I find that I could read them over and over again.  You simply feel the understanding and positivity jump off the pages as you read them. Talk about melting your heart, I wish I had this book through both of my pregnancies and while they were both small enough to plant seeds of thought.  The idea of passing on positive thoughts and teaching to your unborn child fills your heart with warmth and happiness.   Kanta's soft and gentle tone with words are used carefully to reflect their true meaning to guide a child's spiritual journey into happiness to be carried on into adulthood.  A lesson many adults have failed to do.  The words are passed on to your child to nourish deeply and their inner thoughts may have a chance against life's obstacles. I really like how the author uses the book to explain to the young about inside thoughts and those that we speak and how these can have an effect on people.  I love the use of the happy buttons, a tool that people of all ages can do.  There is also a good simple insight at a young age as to why others are sad. A very easy and enjoyable read as a parent, parent to be or on your own.  Be prepared to smile your way through this book.

Just as Kanta Bosnick’s other books this one Welcome to the World! is brimming with LOVE! Welcome to the World takes on the premise of an adult reassuring and nurturing a child into this big wide world, while focusing on sights, sounds, feelings and positive energy. Not only is this a perfect gift for a child being read to but also the reader… a wonderful reminder of all the simple things we adults take for granted. This book comes at a very special time for me as I am currently 36 weeks pregnant with a twinless twin. My daughter lost her identical twin at 9 weeks gestation. This book and its whimsical illustrations have really helped me with my healing process, and to focus on all the things I want to teach my daughter who is already a brave fighter, having survived Twin to twin transfusion Syndrome

This is a wonderful little book that is perfect for reading to a small child. The author suggests it is even good reading to the baby still in utero, and I agree. Filled with uplifting encouragement and inspiring quotes, this book introduces a child to a positive world surrounding him/her. It teaches a child how to find a happy place, and to listen to their inner voice. This book leaves you with a great attitude after reading it. A child can only learn good things from it. Actually, even grown-ups can gain much value from it. Even the whimsical drawings throughout the entire book bring a smile to your face. There is much for a child to learn from the book. Why not start them out with a positive attitude toward everything they see and do. If you are a child or an adult, read the inspiring writings and quotes. Every time you need a pick-me-up would be a great time to think about reading it again. I suggest giving this book to a loved one as a gift idea.

Welcome to the World is a excellent book for everyone. Davey & Isa love the book and the coloring book. Isa is 10 and she loved  to color the cute pics and she really likes the quotes. Davey who is 5 loves when I read to him and he gets to color the storybook.  He is so proud when he has finished the page. My favorite quote is "It takes courage to grow up and become who you really are." by E.E.Cummings. So VERY VERY TRUE!!! This is a excellent book to buy for yourself or to give as a gift.
