This is a wonderful story to read. It is a wonderful start to a brand new series I am so glad I read this story. I love reading wold shifter stories and this one is no different. I highly recommend this story to everyone who loves wolf shifter stories and if you buy it you will not be disappointed at all. This is my honest and unbias opinion of the story.

Wyatt Weylyn and his six-man werewolf black ops team were dropped off by helicopter in a very rugged and remote area in Afghanistan. This was the last “impossible mission” he and his team would have to go on. He was earning a large sum of money which he needed to hire a research veterinarian to find a cure for a disease affecting their wolf pups. They were currently rescuing Colin Taylor, the son of billionaire industrialist, Randal Taylor. The young man had flown on a goodwill mission with medicines and was shot down by the Taliban. The crew was beheaded and Colin would likewise be murdered if they did not get missiles and weapons they demanded. So Wyatt’s team was attempting rescue. Dr Madeline Styles was a specialist on wolf diseases and travelled worldwide to do what she could to save wolves. She was speaking at a local conference. She received an email she thought was a joke from her friend, offering her $1 million for 6 months of study on a wolf pup virus. She wrote back a crazy response, offering a lap dance as well. But when she met her friend at the conference, he swore it wasn’t him. They checked the registered attendees and, sure enough, Wyatt Weylyn was a real person and she was so embarrassed. When they finally met, Wyatt assured Maddie that he realized her assumption of a joke, but he sincerely needed her help. When she left the conference, her car got a flat and a half dozen men dragged her out of the car. Fortunately, she had called Wyatt and he got there in time to damage the men enough that they ran off. But the damage to her clothing allowed him to see the wolf mark on her skin! She was a wolf maiden, a rare human he could mate with and have children. He had asked Tilda previously to check her identity and she confirmed it. She also confirmed that Bisclavaret, his enemy, had been online and would absolutely try to claim Maddie as his own. With Maddie determined to keep men distant after her bad breakup, Wyatt would have to go slower in convincing her of what he was and how important she was to him. Would Bisclavaret break the Council’s rules and move in to steal her before Wyatt could make his claim? And would Maddie be taken away without having a chance to help the pups? These were different wolves than I usually have read about in paranormal stories. Werewolves/lycans with different rules than the usual shifter. It was fun learning about them and their abilities, the author expertly building a new world and vocabulary for the reader. The characters were very well drawn and the reader will enjoy their company in this captivating story line. Make sure to get your copy!

Now to my review of Eva Gordon's novel which I had such fun reading that I finished it up in less than a day because I couldn't stop reading it that I didn't sleep until it was almost past midnight. OMG and Wow! That is what I had to say when I finished reading this novel because I couldn't believe how great a read it was. From the start of this novel I became addicted to the characters Wyatt and Madeline because I knew that they would have a lot to tell me about themselves as well as the relationship that I knew was going to happen between them throughout this novel. There were many plot twists and turns that had me glued to this novel making me want more and more as well as making me wish that it would never end. I found out that this Lycan world that Eva created was very intriguing because it is such a complex world that I had fun learning everything I could about it while reading this novel. Wyatt and Maddie are such wonderful characters that have a lot of growing to do in this novel because they have been living without each other for their entire lives so now that they have finally met and fallen in love they need to adjust to their new lives together. Along the way they will have many tough and dangerous obstacles that will be blocking their way to finally having their happily ever after with each other. Eva Gordon delivers an intriguing tale of lycans and humans that is at times so believable I felt as though I'm right there with Wyatt and Maddie. From the first page to the very last page, this novel tells of an entertaining journey into the the lycan world that will give you a thrill ride in this contemporary paranormal romance. Werewolf Sanctuary has more than enough romance, plot twits and turns to give readers a page turner with satisfying experience and I look forward to more of the Wolf Maiden Chronicles series especially her next book in the series which is a historical paranormal romance called, Beast Warrior: Viking Werewolf.
