About the Author

I grew up in Minnesota, married my husband of now over 30 years and had my two children (Matthew now 30 and Andrea 28). In the early 80's we moved from Minnesota to Florida and I've lived on the beaufiful Central East Coast ever since. I've always been creative, and my career life focused on interior design, painting and garden design. I didn't start writing until I turned 52. I loved the Vampire genre and after years of enjoyment found in the pages of other author's books, I decided that I wanted to know more about the characters than was there between the covers. What had these long lived vampires been doing, what had they seen and done throughout history? My two wonderful children were grown and my fantastic husband has always supported my career choices. So, my mind made up, I would take up the challenge of creating what I wanted to read for myself and offer the books to anyone else who loved this genre. Thus began the Royal Blood Chronicles. I am now working on ten book in the series, have written the first book in another series and Phantom Lives, my paranormal series has two books, Collier and Power. I'm writing book three of that series. Look for new books in 2014 Enjoy

So I have been a big fan of E.L. Loraine for a while so I am not surprised at all that i fell totally in love with this book. The book takes place in beautiful mountains and the way she write the details about them and the sunsets is amazing. I have never been anywhere like she describes however I could visualize it with the descriptions that she wrote. I fell in love with her characters. Lorna and Wiley had me completely intrigued and wrapped up in their lives. Both facing down their demons and trying to make themselves better. And I must say that Wiley's mom Grace was awesome. I loved her! E.L. Loraine really pulled out a good one here!

This novella is by author E.L.  Loraine. Since I have read other books by this author I knew I would be in for a good read and she did not disappoint me in the least. The story involves Lorna and her coming back to her father place to live after giving up the city life and her cheating ex boyfriend. Even though she is not looking for any romance she meets 2 men, 1 a ladies man and the other a damaged man both of whom try to help her in their own different ways comes to terms with her past. I can not say there is anything I did not like in this read. The author created the story line that just flowed and the characters meshed with each other so well. I had to feel for Lorna when she got into the accident and she had to depend on Wiley for help. This novella is a nice romantic story line and will have you saying  "when is the next part going to be out?" There is a little sexual content but not as dramatic as other books out there which is nice to see.
