I really enjoyed this story. One I love small town romances and I loved these characters. Ethan and Bailey were a really cute couple. I was so happy for Bailey but there were moments when Ethan was very frustrating! Given he is heartbroken, but come on! I always love the friends first story and this one was no exception!

I LOVE this book!  I literally could not put it down.  I normally prefer romances with, well, more of an edge to them (namely bad words and steamy love scenes).  This book had neither, but what it lacked in those areas was more than made up for in the emotions department. Bailey is the perfect heroine; she is feminine and yet has a skill set that crosses both genders, what with being a motorcycle-riding-MMA-teaching-car-mechanic.  She isn't too "I don't need NO man" and she isn't too "makeup?  What's Makeup?" The conflicts that arose between Bailey and Ethan almost had me in tears at parts.  I just can;t believe how much Jennifer Snow made me FEEL while reading this book! Jennifer created a set of characters that makes me want to move to Brookhollow and become best friends with each and every one of them.  I am ECSTATIC that there are more books in this series!  While it is not necessary to read these books in order, I'm looking forward to reading The Trouble with Mistletoe to learn the back-story of Victoria and Luke, who both appeared frequently in this book.

Bailey Sheppard has been in love with Ethan Gibson for what seems like her whole life. Bailey first decided to make a move for Ethan and ask him to their junior prom but beautiful, spoiled, sassy Emily Parsons beat her to the punch. Bailey pushed down her feelings for Ethan and went on with the best friend relationship they had. Bailey is definitely a tomboy - big into sports, rides a motorcycle and owns her on garage. The problem with that....she has always been seen as one of the guys instead of the woman she is. Ten years after the junior prom incident, Bailey is still head over heels in love with Ethan. After ten years together, Emily decides to leave their small town in New Jersey and follow a high powered exec to Miami. Six months after Emily leaves him high and dry, Jim is still carrying a torch for Emily, still has her pictures every where and refuses to move on. After losing her business to a structure fire, Bailey decides its time to take matters into her own hands - she tells Ethan how she feels and kisses him. Ethan doesn't think she is rational and keeps telling himself he is in love with Emily. As Ethan slowly starts to realize that its Bailey he's in love with and not Emily, Emily comes back into town with announcement that knocks him off his feet leaving Bailey once again overshadowed by Emily. Will Bailey finally get her man or is she forever destined to be one of the guys?
