About the Author

Clara Coulson was born and raised in backwoods Virginia, USA. Currently in her mid-twenties, Clara holds a degree in English and Finance from the College of William & Mary and recently retired from the hustle and bustle of Washington, DC to return to the homeland and pick up the quiet writing life.

Clara spends most of her time (when she's not writing) dreaming up new story ideas, studying Japanese, and slowly reading through the several-hundred-book backlog on her budding home library. If she's not occupied with any of those things, then you can probably find her playing with her two cats or lurking in the shadows of various social media websites.

Vincent, the main character in this series, really intrigues me. The events in this book really ramped up that feeling. In addition, not only is this installment well-written like the other two previous books, we delve deeper into Vincent’s fae heritage, and see more of his fae side. Really, I don’t want to give too much away in this review, but we also see a much bigger picture of Kinsale and its inhabitants, and how far Vincent will go to save “his” city. While the plot sort of moved away from mystery and headed more into adventure, I don’t mind as the breakneck speed of the plot keeps you turning pages. And, to be completely honest, there was something that happened in this book I did see coming, but I didn’t guess it until probably much later than I should have. I can’t wait to see what the author will come up with in the next book! Highly recommend! Thanks to the author for the e-copy which I voluntarily reviewed.
