About the Author

Arpi Dermardirousian was born in Isfahan, Iran. Until age of 13 she was fascinated by anything related to electronic components. At age 13, she started to fix computers. By the time she was 15, she developed her first windows application regarding to a problem that she was observing on daily bases with the help of an experienced developer. Soon, she sent her application to the Nation Wide Kharazmi Competition in Iran. This app which was called "Speak True", became her first innovation. With this app she was able to suggest a logical solution to one of the long lasting problems surrounding Armenians in Iran. Perhaps, this application guided Arpi throughout her life and made her who she is today. After she moved to USA, she never stopped looking for problems surrounding her, and adopting her abilities to solve those problems. Currently, she is majoring in Software Engineering field of study, and works for an electrical manufacturing company as their developer and programmer.
