About the Author

Dorothy Martin Apgar was born in Newark, New Jersey and grew up in North Plainfield, New Jersey
Mrs. Apgar ( retired ) is a graduate of Muhlenberg Hospital School of Nursing and Boston University, Boston, Massachusetts.
Dorthy was the middle child of three whose mother passed away shortly after the birth of her third child. The children were raised in their father's very dysfunctional family who engaged in intense psychological games.
These destructive roles were passed on to Dorothy and her siblings with the same devastating results.
The main reason for this book is to make people aware of how family games and other destructive ways block love, happiness and good health.
This book has the potential to help people become aware of what real love is and the many ways love is blocked.
Mrs. Apgar is also the author of two other books, "God First" and "Blessed Are They That Mourn For They Shall Be Comforted".
