About the Author

Ryan Notch lives in Centralia, Pennsylvania, a town evacuated by the Federal government due to a coal mine fire burning beneath it since 1962. The only town in America ever to have its zip code revoked. During the day he wanders the empty streets and houses as if in a dream, looking for something he lost but can't remember where or what it was. At night he writes his horror stories by lying down next to a burning fissure along main street and placing his ear to the ground, transcribing what he hears coming up from below. To view his photographs featuring the dreams of abandoned places please visit www.areographers.com Or watch a trailer for his feature length horror movie at www.lastnightofapril.com Or read his comics at www.themsgoodcomics.com

I thought it was a really good read, it kept my interest piqued and prompted me to look for other works by this author. Anyone who reads Stehen King/Dean Koontz novels would, I think, enjoy this book.

Better than a lot of the Lovecraft in space out there. Not a bad read at all.

Though at times a little hard to grasp what is happening, this short story will keep you reeling with ideas. The short bio of the author in the back almost adds to the anxiety of the book.
