The bestselling* guide for ukulele beginners, written specifically FOR beginners.
Concerned at the lack of answers to obvious ukulele questions for those just starting out, and the prescriptive nature of the tuition books, I started a blog, and now a book that aims to redress the balance.
This guide provides concise, no-nonsense answers to the obvious questions that the tuition books miss. This isn't a tutor book, think of it more as an owners manual to get you kick started!
With chapters dealing from everything, from ukulele sizes, prices and strings to how to grow your nails. Also includes reference section and a very helpful glossary explaining those weird and wonderful terms that may baffle a beginner.
The book is aimed at being read in conjunction with other tuition, to provide some balance, and empower the new uke player without making them feel restricted by rules.
*number one selling book in the UK Kindle music chart December 2011*

This is a must have book if you are starting to play. It's not a book that teaches you to play but tells you everything else you can imagine about the ukelele
This book did indeed answer some of my most basic questions. I only wish it had been proof read better.
