This was one of the oddest books I've read in a long time. I kept thinking what was the point? Will it ever end? However I couldn't put it down. Still haven't figured out why. I did finish it though, which wasn't easy. The jury is still out.

"I uh..." Xander scratched the back of his head thoughtfully. Lisa hooked her arm through his "Show me the garden?" Kat watched her flitter her long eyelashes at him flirtaously. Kat felt a pang of jealously whip through her. Wait... why did she care? She was Ryan's girlfriend! Everyone knew that , including herself. "Uh .. Nah. I think i've had enough photosythesis for one day." He shooke his shaggy black hair that was full of water droplets for effect. Suddenly Kat felt a strong arm loop itself through hers. The amount of confusion swerved in her brain as she looked at the arm with hers up to the person it was connected to. It was in fact another guy. He was about Xander's height , though he looked much taller to Kat because he stood next to her towering her 5 ft 3. He had a aray of freckles sprinkled over his cheeks and nose. Kat stared at the very golden color of his hair in big shortly cut waves otop his head
