These are the teachings you have been looking for. You've heard the saying that when the student is ready, the teacher arrives... Well he's here! At least he is for me, and I've waited a lifetime. One teaching of Matt Kahn's that fascinates me as a student of psychology is his teaching on the overactive nervous system and how we react to life in this generally accepted fashion which keeps us from knowing and loving and tending to our own inner child. It's our own loving innocence who only wants from us the love and acceptance we never received from others. This is the heart of loving what arises. If you feel sad, send love to the sadness. Feeling angry? Send love to the anger. Keep sending love to whatever emotion springs to your attention. "I'll stop the world and melt with you You've seen the difference and it's getting better all the time There's nothing you and I won't do I'll stop the world and melt with you." ~Modern English Yes, this book is awesome for people like me with short attention spans. Every paragraph holds a jewel of realization, truth, and potential epiphanies. Take your time with this book, savor it, breathe in and let it out slowly. Read, and reread those passages that hold deep meaning for you. There is no race to finish. But even so, with all this lovely inspiration, your heart will love you for it. Follow the words in this book, and it holds the potential to change your life.
