Overview

Ashley Livingston is in trouble. It’s the first day of her junior year, and she has a way bigger problem than normal first day jitters. That’s because over the summer Ashley and her family ended up vacationing in the same place as one of the most popular boys in school, Austin Givens. Ashley and Austin got super close, sharing late night talks, cool drinks by the pool, and solo outings that lasted all day long. Sounds perfect, right? Wrong. Since Ashley arrived home, Austin’s barely been talking to her. Okay, fine, he’s been totally ignoring her. No text messages. No phone calls. Not even a facebook comment.

Ashley’s upset, but whatever. She pushes her feelings for Austin to the back of her mind, deletes the vacation pics from her digital camera, and forces herself to move on. Out of sight, out of mind, right? But now it’s the first day of school, and there’s no way Austin and Ashley can hide from each other. Will Austin be able to explain himself or will Ashley realize he’s not the guy she once thought? Find out in Kels Barnholdt’s debut novella What’s Meant to Be

Nothing about this was amazing. Its so cliche, its ridiculous. I read it in an hour, too. 75 pages? Easyyy

Words are spelt wrong and was really short and was predictable

Not worth the money at all! It was wayyyy too short, there were a lot of words misspelled along with grammatical errors. It also seemed unrealistic to me, I don't know any juniors in high school who act as immature as the characters this book did. This is definitely not a book I would reccomend to anyone!

I gave this book two stars. The first star was because it could have been a great read if it had been longer. The second one was because I loved the love story in this book. The blank stars are for the fact that this book SHOULD have been longer for the three dollars I paid for it. My GOSH I have bought books that were also three dollars and they were 600 or more pages long! This should have been a FREE book!!! That is all I have to say... for now at least!

This book is 75 pages long total waste!

I'm so glad I only paid 99 cents for this book or short story. It started off awesome and then got worse. There was no depth or character development. The worst part was there eas no one to fall in love with. If Kels Barnholdt takes this idea and develops it into a real story it might have potential to be good

I really loved this book!!!! I really did even though i read these types of books so much that I already know what will happen lol :) Anyways I think she did an amazing job, and I truly wish that there was a second book, that explains Austin and Her relationship :) i love this book, im a hopeless romantic lol so, if u like books with girly romance i really would RECOMMEND this book to you, its amazing, i bet u'll enjoy it and want more out of this 75 page book :) Read and share with ur friends :) i would give this book a 5 star rating if it was alittle bit longer, and letting the reader have more of how there relationship starts

I lived this book and the romance. The only thing i didnt like was how short it was. It was more like a short story then a novel but it was good. I think thry couldve added more to make the book longer though. All in all it was good and i reccomend it especially if youre looking for a quick book because it only took me a half an hour to read it. READ!

This book has a good story line, but the ending was typical. There were only 75 pages, and I paid for more than that. All in all it was a good plot, but executed horribly, and for too much money.

It was actually really good but then next thing i know the book is over and i have only been reading for 30 minutes. I hate how it just ended but im glad theres another book agter this and i hate how it was only 75 pages.

i didnt read the whole book, but i got the free sample and i read through that. i found so many mistakes; spelling errors, awkward and confusing phrases, as well as choppy sentences. this is a great book idea and plot, but i dont think it was written properly to make the book a hit, just like the idea. i was still debating whether to buy it and waste my money and live through it to see the ending, but i thought that the ending will be like the beginning, predictable and choppy and it probably will be cut short for my taste. im not buying the book afterall and i dont think you should waste ur money. if you really wanted to read it, get it at a library. the author had a great idea, but did not folow in my opinion.

For 99 cents it wasnt bad. Definately a short story though amd not enough time to develop the relationships between the characters. This might be a nice prequel but i definately want to know more.
