Stories & Illustration by KIDS!
(Sales proceeds go to support art and writing related programs at West Hills Christian School in Portland, Oregon.)

What happens when you set a child's imagination free?

A Pegasus loses his necklace;
Sandals go missing;
Feathered friends get in a fight;
Surprising things unfold at a bakery;
and many more adventures!

Join these grade-school children, and one junior high artist, on these imaginitive rides!

Authors & Artists is a before school class, overseen by author Roslyn McFarland.
Impressed with the creative storytelling of her own daughter, Roslyn decided to see what other kids could do with the opportunity to create unrestrictedly, with follow up editing and style guidance, just like in a real publishing house.

All profits from the distribution and sale of this book will be donated directly to West Hills Christian School in Portland, OR, as contribution to the schools continuing efforts to provide the best in class and extracurricular art and writing programs for their students.

About the Author

ROSLYN MCFARLAND

ROSLYN MCFARLAND currently lives in Oregon with her husband, two extraordinarily active and strong willed little girls (karma) and a house full of fur kids (cats and dogs, a super huge goldfish and its numerous fishy friends).
Roslyn is the author of clean Young Adult, Coming-of Age/Romance stories (Yes, by choice. She has daughters!), appropriate for tweens but fun enough for everyone. Her works currently include "See No Sea", "Hear No See", "Light the Way", and "Soldier Boy". She is actively working on three more titles, so be on the lookout for more! Roslyn hopes to be able to continue turning dreams into reality for many years to come.
Battling chronic illness since 2006, she started writing as a way to keep her mind active. Completion of her first novel came with some improvements in mobility, and continued bouts of health have allowed her to continue her newfound love and be able to branch out and bless others with some of the hard lessons she's learned along the road, including running the Authors & Artists class at her daughters school. God works in mysterious ways.
