Then, a bittersweet reunion becomes the catalyst for reliving the fractured memories of her childhood. Fear keeps her from probing the darkest corners of her mind and she leans on Graham for support, but can she trust him?
On the horizon, obsession and greed churn into a storm that threatens Loren and those closest to her. When the tempest hits and the dust finally settles, what is uncovered tilts the axis of her world.
In the second novel of the Wheeler series, Loren must find the strength to believe that even in darkness, there is still light, there is still hope; there is still love.

I loved Wheeler and am so happy there's more to Loren and Graham's story. This book is shorter than the first and only has a little cycling, but is still packed with drama, romance and is just as intense. As someone starts taunting and following Loren, and more people become aware of her past, she really struggles to stay sane. She gets frustrated and angry with Graham quite easily, but he is the same way with her, as neither one really knows how to handle their emotions. The awful things that have happened to Loren are heartbreaking, and I don't blame her at all for her reactions! This is a great series and the characters are really well written. You really feel their emotions - their frustration, anger and even their happiness. I look forward to seeing what is next for Loren and Graham, but I also don't want the series to end!
