Of course we all know this story and love the simplicity and repetitiveness of it. My largest criticism of it is that the words are on one page and the picture on the previous page so that when you are reading the book to a child, he/she cannot see the pictures which are well drawn and colorful. I love that the bus is a school bus instead of a city bus. This helps bring a connection to rural children.
