When Falcone's World Stops Turning (Harlequin Presents Series #3211) by Abby Green

She has the power to change everything…

Rafaele Falcone runs his luxury auto empire and private life with the same ice-cold ruthlessness. Emotions play no part in his decisions, and he always demands the best, so he doesn't hesitate to ask brilliant engineer Samantha Rourke to join his company—even though he walked away from her years before.

That sexy Italian accent still sends shivers down her spine, but gutsy Sam knows it's not just about her impossible desire to feel his hands on her body once again. Because Falcone is about to discover her deepest secret—one that will send his world into a spin!

When Falcone’s World Stops Turning By Abby Green I liked this book even though it’s been done so many times before. Rafaele Falcone is handsome, rich, and kind of a jerk with our heroine. He has issues stemming from his childhood. He has two brothers which I’m sure are as broken as he is. Sam was innocent and she had been madly in love with Rafaele and when he found out she was pregnant he almost passed out. Imagine his relief when she miscarried. Sam let him believe she had miscarried, but four years later the truth comes out. I would have liked the story a little better if Sam had been a little spunkier. In the end she did acquire a backbone, thank god. I loved the ending because I love happy endings and this one did not disappoint. I gave this book four stars and recommend it highly. I just bought the Securing The Greek’s Legacy by Julia James which is the story of Alexio Christakos one of Rafaele’s half-brother and I can’t wait to read it.

Description From The Publisher: She has the power to change everything… Rafaele Falcone runs his luxury auto empire and private life with the same ice-cold ruthlessness. Because Falcone is about to discover her deepest secret—one that will send his world into a spin! My Review: Sam and Rafaele both seemed to have issues. Sam could not move on following her break up with Rafaele and Rafaele could not get past a scene he witnessed when he was not more than an infant (I thought it might have worked better if he had been a few years older). When they meet years later the attraction is still there, as is Sam's love, but old and new issues arise to complicate their chances. Not a bad book by any means and I look forward to reading the other two books in the trilogy. Although not for young teen it is a good book for older teens, young adults and mature readers looking for light quick romances. My rating for "When Falcone's World Stops Turning" is 3.75 out of 5 stars. For a starter it wasn't bad, but I hope book is better with characters with a bit more backbone and less flimsy personal issues.
