I can't believe I waited so long to read this. It's been in my library for quite awhile and now I am in love with these characters. Beth is this sweet somewhat naive with a beautiful loving soul. She has had her fair share of heartache and has become stronger for it. Her self esteem has been beat down to non exsistant. When she finds a box that belonged to her mother and finds out she has an aunt she goes to meet her Aunt Hattie and Uncle Danny she finally gets to feel what it's like to have a family. Then she meets Reed and he's your typical manwhore. Then she changes his life in ways he never emagined. Their chemistry in off the charts freakin amazing! This book has the perfect HEA. This us my first book by J. Daniels and I can't wait to read more. I highly recommend this book to everyone.

Love this series, loved revisiting the old characters and discovering the hot chemistry this new couple has. Throughout this series you meet characters that are amazingly supportive of one another with the right mix of humor, action, love and friendship. This is a cannot put down, fantastic book.

"I WAS IN LOVE ONCE. One. One time too many." So, manwhore Reed gets his story. Wait you don't know Reed? Stop. Back up and read books 1&2. Really to understand how Reed deserves a HEA, you need to get to know him first. It's one of those stories where the unsuspecting Hero has a girl knock him off his feet. Beth breezes into Ruxton and does just that. If you love a vulnerable man, this read is for you. Reed comes off with quick comebacks and one and done attitude. However, Ms Daniels gives you glimpses and insights that there are deeper feelings to this man to be slowly peeled back as the story unfolds. And Beth. She's the person to bring him out of his 'loveless' life. Another soul needing and wanting to find love, she tries to cover her feelings for Reed. Beth has that soft vulnerability that makes you want to protect her. With all that Beth went through, she gave into too fast to her demons. Again another ball out of the park read for me. J. Daniels gives you some fun and giggles. But, when she turns on the steam, watch out, the couple is HOT. 4.5 out of 5 stars.

This series is fantastic. The right mix of humor, romance and wild sex. Reed is easily the funniest character that is totally believable. I freaking love Reed. Thank you for this series. I read a terrible book before starting this series and I needed something to wipe that trollop from my brain. This was perfect. The characters are amazing.

Out of all 3 books, I'm trying to decide which guy I like best out of Ben, Luke, & Reed. In this story, I loved the way Beth got to Reed. He didn't think he would ever need a women for more than a one night stand. That was before Beth smiled the biggest smile and gave him a take charge kind of kiss. I was so happy they found each other.

Reed Tennyson. You have my heart. I am ruined for future book boyfriends. As a fan of this series and all of these Bama boys, I was so excited to get to Reed’s story. Nothing prepared me for just how much I would love his story and how much it would mean to me. Reed is perfection. “Love should be unpredictable. I want it to hit me and like, knock me on my ass.” Reed doesn’t do the same girl twice. Literally. He is a love and leave ‘em kind of guy. He has his reasons. It’s much easier that way. The girls know this about him. Never expect anything he cannot give. But Reed loved once. Or so he thought. Until a woman brought down his whole world. She shattered his heart and barely looked back to help him pick up the pieces. Years later, he may be over her but refuses to allow someone to make him feel that vulnerable and weak again. That is...until her. “Your voice might be my favorite sound.” Beth Davis is a breath of fresh air. The moment he lays his eyes on her, his heart exhales. She is new in town and so different than anyone he has ever met. She hasn’t had the easiest life, but never makes excuses. She faces adversity with strength. Reed recognizes this, but is hesitant to follow through on his attraction to her. Until he can’t hold back anymore.  Circumstances force an arrangement that is opposite in what Reed believes in but may serve its purpose. Little does Reed know is that this arrangement would change the course of his life. And would shatter anything he thought he knew about his heart.  “It’s only ever been you, Beth.” I found Reed and Beth’s story to be sweet, sexy, sensual, and addicting. I never wanted to put my kindle down. Their story attests to the truth in finding love where it’s least expected. Reed was never supposed to love. Never supposed to open up his heart and mind to that possibility. Ever. And Beth? She wanted a fresh start. But that’s the thing about love. It waits for no one. Love goes where it belongs. And it found its place with Reed and Beth. I loved that we felt Beth and Reed fall for each other. We were never told. We are immersed in their lives and watch the walls come down around their hearts. They fall easily, effortlessly. Their love conquered every fear possible. It made Reed realize that love IS a risk...but love with Beth? It's just simply worth it.  “I’m so in love with you I feel like I can’t breathe.” When I Fall goes beyond your typical bad boy never falls in love story. If you’ve read the previous books in this series, we are given a small glimpse of Reed. His story allows us to truly get to know him and understand the way he is and how his heart was broken. He is a beautiful, funny human being. He has the biggest heart. He loves with such conviction and truth. When he loves, truly loves...he goes all in. Nothing held back. I laughed, I teared up, I was simply invested in his story from start to finish. The chemistry is off the charts between Beth and Reed. The author has an exceptional talent for writing men that you can’t help but fall for. The writing is real, raw, and genuine. Her character development is simply amazing. The rest of the Bama boys are in Reed’s story. I love that she continues to intertwine all her characters even as the series moves on. I enjoyed every moment of When I Fall. It truly solidified my love for this author and her characters. Bama Boys lover for life! #DickMeUpReed

A Must Read! The latest installment of the BAMA Boys is HOTT! Reed is a man whore that only gives the ladies one night! Beth is new in town and Reed just can't stay away. This book has it all. Reed is hot, drives a big truck, can fix things, and really knows what he is doing in the bedroom (and every other room for that matter!) Beth has had a hard life but she is a giving person and is willing to jump in and rescue strangers from awkward situations. Catch up with the other BAMA Boys and their ladies and the Kelly babies. Can't wait for the next installment of this series.

If you enjoy J. Daniels, I recommend reading this book. I like stories where the "never going to happen to me" male falls hard. The story also gives updates on what is happening with the rest of the Alabama gang. While the story contains typical J. Daniels' humor, it also contains lots of heavier emotions. There were some typos in the book but not enough to distract from the story. I'm hoping to get more stories in this series. Perhaps a story for Riley or CJ (maybe and?) next. I want more updates on this gang. Maybe Riley will get those nieces and nephews to Christmas shop for. We need some little Reeds running around, maybe some little Tessa/Lukes too. Nolan and Chase need some playmates.

5 star I was pulled right into this short story. The story flowed well I was kept interested in this story. The story has laughs, suspense, pain, betrayal, secrets, and heartbreak.  If you have not already read the below I would recommend reading this book first: Where I Belong (Alabama Summer) (Volume 1) All I Want (Alabama Summer) (Volume 2) This is Beth and Reed’s story. Beth has had a hard time since her mother died.  She now moved into her Aunt’s house and is trying to get a job and move on with her life.  Reed comes across her at a bar.  The night they meet his ex is in town and Beth leaves her to believe they are together.  Now Reed is running hot and cold Beth is confused.  After pushing her away one to many times can he win her back?  Or will she run back to her past?    I was able to connect with the characters and the story was a great read.  I highly recommend this book and this author.
