I came across this in the store and decided to buy for my daughter for Christmas along with another O'Leary book for my son. My daughter is 4 and a little fearful of the future (mom, when Im 100 years old will you be my mommy still?) So this book was perfect. It never made it to Christmas. I had a very scary turn of medical events and was hospitalized. By the grace of God everything turned out to be entirely okay. When I came home from the hospital, I could see my kids were a little shaken by my absence. I grabbed the books, wrote a little something to each of them, and at bed time cuddled up and read them each their O'Leary book. It was an absolutely perfect moment. This book captured my gratitude for a second chance clear of any worries for the Christmas season. Tender, sweet, and perfect from a mother to a daughter. A childhood treasure!
