I love all of Johanna Lindsey books but I do have to agree with the other reviews. Seems like the main characters fell in love but I couldn ot figure out why. They really did not have anything in common and not sure the plot was the best. I do love Johanna books so I will keep reading them.

I couldn't believe after I had just read Prisoner of my Love (JL book as well) that his book would make me so mad. The story line, although keeps you going is lacking in more twists and surprises. No one ever is in any danger and the main character, Rolfe is severly lacking in any character. He has no pizaaz what so ever! What bugged me most about this book is that nothing was ever resloved between these two until the last 3 chapter or so. The whole book was full of her not telling him something, and him not telling her something. Misunderstandings left and right can really rile you when nothing but that is happening. I can't recommend this book, I just didn't find it satisfying.

I honestly wondered several times while reading thus book if it was really written by Johanna Lindsey. Usually her books are entertaining, fun......good! This one was nothing short of a dud. The characters had a lot of conflict simply due to misunderstandings and words left unsaid....but that didn't stop them from going at it like rabbits, which would occur randomly and stupidly. I felt I never got the chance to like either character and I certainly don't get how in the world I was supposed to see them in "love". Seriously? Advice: Don't waste your money or your time with this one.

Has everything I crave in a good romance. One of JL's best!

This has got to be the worst JL book she ever wrote. How could these two people fall in love when they had some little interaction. Nothing redeaming about Rolfe and Leonie was forever running away. Ugh!

This book was thoroughly frustrating. There was no basis to the love Rolfe felt for Leonie besides that she was hot, nothing! I could never stop my self from wondering how in the world Johanna Lindsey could claim these characters were falling in love with eachother because there was never anything to promote love. The whole story was lacking in any whit and the conversations carried no weight except when they were orders. Love sprang out of thin air and for no warranted reason. Time and time again mishaps would arise that would test the couples undying "love" for each other, but not once could i figure out how in the world they could delude themselves into thinking they were in love. The book was always on my nerves when Rolfe's mistress never ceased with her scheming against the couple and Leonie lacked such a back bone (she could not mention a single thought to her husband nor take credit for anything that would give his a less shallow reason to "love" her) that I found myself disgusted with her. This book was so not was I was expecting

This plot fixates around a lack of communication and uneducated assumptions. The heroine can stand up to any other character, but when it comes to her husband she keeps everything inside. Her only redeeming quality was that she was fun in the sack. Thank goodness she wasnt a flop in bed like she was in the rest of the book. These plots built around assumptiins and unvoiced inner thoughts really bite the big one! I skipped around 50 pages of nonsense simply because i was going to rip my own hair out from the stupidity! JL needs to bring books like Prisoner of my Desire back. At least give us a heroine with a backbone, someone with enough spark to stand up to a man! Anything but this meek, quiet, pathetic excuse of lead character. At least the hero was a hottie, i guess.

Liked it! Like a lot of books, some of the misunderstandings were frustrating. This was a good book though.

Another of Johanna Lindsey's best. I love Leonie and Rolfe. Well, Leonie for sure from the start. Rolfe tends to grow on you. This is one that will keep you from wanting to do anything other than read. You won't be disappointed.
