Jack McElroy has been in love with Emma since they met their freshman year of college. The last four years of living in San Francisco have been torturous for him, being away from her. Will he be able to profess his love for her or will her ex-fiancé beat him to the punch?

I enjoyed this book from the beginning to the end. It was full of real emotions, some suspense and best of all was a love story of two friends. The story is well written and flows smoothly. The story pulled you in and keeps your attention all the way to the end. It is a clean romance that has a little steamy love scene however it is not full of erotic scenes. I enjoyed the change of pace in reading a book that was not all full of the couple making out in almost every chapter. It had a great story line and did not keep you hanging at the end. There are two more books in this series that are just as good as this one. They all keep you wanting to read more from this amazing author. Melanie has become one of my favorite authors due to her writing style and great story lines!
