Overview

When the Snow Fell by Lana G. Hurn

Angelica Arlington and Noah Monroe were best friends. They had started out as best of friends when Noah’s family moved onto the same street as Angelica’s family. They went to Junior High together and although Noah was a year ahead of Angelica, they had so much in common. They spent most of their time together and loved skiing. They lived for the slopes at Oliver Mountain. As time moved forward, they found themselves spending more and more time together. Call it fate, but their relationship had escalated since Noah had graduated. His thoughts were that maybe he has a soul mate after all. He would be attending college next spring with plans of becoming a Lawyer. He only hoped that Angelica’s feelings were as strong as his. The bond that these two had were remarkable and nothing or no one could separate them.

About the Author

I'm a native of West Virginia and now reside in Mount Airy, North Carolina. I'm married to a Chemical Engineer, Larry, who supports (all) of my endeavors, regardless of what they are. He's great!I have been blessed with a son, David, and four great step-children, Karen, Kenny, Laura and Mick, and two-wonderful daughters-in-law, Claudia and Renata. My blessings started by having two fantastic sisters, (Joy-WV and Jill-GA), that I cherish and love deeply. This book through Smashwords has been dedicated to them. After graduating, I attended Charleston Beauty Academy in WV where I received my license in Cosmetology. Before retiring, I spent the last ten years as a barber. For a period of time I worked at "Floyd's Barber Shop" in downtown Mayberry, NC.In my spare time, I enjoy reading and writing, along with making jewelry, sewing, learning about end times prophecies, canning and outside on my trails in the woods. Thanks must be given to Lily; our small, loving chihuahua who sat on my lap during the entire writing of this book.Cassie's Dream was my first publication and was first written back in 1986, (yes 27 years ago). I love writing of any type and all inclusive of: poems, songs lyrics, short scripts, and a story on my cancer experience. My wish for everyone that writes, would be for you to put something out there, you never know what touches others and it only takes a word to make a person smile. So keep writing and always smiling!
