Dumi Senda is an internationally acclaimed award winning poet, children's author, story teller, humanitarian and speaker hailed as the Voice of the Voiceless. He has performed in honour of former SA President Nelson Mandela at the invitation of the BBC and has been a guest speaker at the United Nations, Geneva and the UK Houses of Parliament. Dumi appeared on stage and performed with the world famous Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. He has gained international reputation for inspirational poetry performances, motivational speaking and Arts and Culture education. Dumi has been published in several countries including Ghana, Zimbabwe, Germany, Canada and Switzerland. He has been a speaker for some of the world's leading institutions including Planet Aid, Africa Children's charity and Oxford University. Dumi is a regular panelist on BEN TV, the largest TV Network for Africans in the Diaspora, and has been interviewed by BBC Radio Leicester and BBC 3 Counties. His debut children's book "The Day the Sun promised to Smile FOREVER!" has been published in Geneva with all the proceeds donated to Innocence in Danger, a children's Foundation started at the initiation of the UNESCO Director General.
