Overview

James Walker went to town in hopes of gaining more land for his family. When he returns home and finds his wife and daughter brutally abused and murdered he vows to get his revenge. He rides out on what becomes years worth of hunting for the men who did this.

James has a sneaking suspicion who killed his family though-but will he ever be able to find him? Traveling from town to town with just his horse and the bare necessities, James uses his skills from the Civil War to seek the deepest revenge he's ever felt.

With nothing in mind other than his late wife and their thirteen year old daughter, James doesn't plan on meeting and falling in love. But is he betraying his family? Can he love someone with this unfinished business?

As years pass and James still hunts, many tell him to give up. But he knows he can never live-or love-until he has fulfilled his vow to his wife and their only child.

When the Storm God Rides is a captivating story of life after the Civil War and how far one man will go to avenge for his family.

A tale of right and wrong on so many levels is told masterfully by Thomas E Kelly. Insights on what drives a man to do what he does and the toll love plays in life has meaning to us all even in this time that we live in. I highly recommend this book to all. 5 stars given by this old cowhand.....

Actor Grainger Hines says this: Well, Thomas... I pulled out a good cigar, made a pot of coffee and... yes... you were right. Couldn't put it down. Just finished it and wanted to let you know. It is epic tale of revenge... well done!! . I look forward to talking with you more about the project. Again, well done, and Congratulations. All my best, Grainger
