Dr. Edward Wallach, in his book, When Trouble Comes, has given us a unique and personal view of a subject touched upon by other great thinkers. That subject being that our past experiences can dictate our present and future feelings, behaviors and actions or inactions, to our benefit or our detriment. "Can", being the optimal word. Discovering and learning this will make the difference betwixt being slave to the past or benefiting from it. From L. Ron Hubbard's writings and philosophy on past experiences affecting the present, to Dr. Hew Len and the ancient Hawaiian teachings of Ho'oponopono, much has been attributed to our past ruling our present and future. Dr. Wallach's book does teach us a method to break the chains that can keep us slavishly repeating our past to our detriment. I cannot give enough praise to this most valuable work. --Gary P.
