Overview

Where I Belong by Gwendolyn Heasley

Meet Corrinne. She's living every girl's dream in New York City—shopping sprees at Barneys, open access to the best clubs and parties, and her own horse at the country club. Her perfect life is perfectly on track. At least it was. . . .

When Corrinne's father is laid off, her world suddenly falls apart. Instead of heading to boarding school, she's stripped of her credit cards and shipped off to the boonies of Texas to live with her grandparents. On her own in a big public school and forced to take a job shoveling manure, Corrinne is determined to get back to the life she's supposed to be living. She doesn't care who she stomps on in the process. But when Corrinne makes an unlikely friend and discovers a total hottie at work, she begins to wonder if her life B.R.—before the recession—was as perfect as it seemed.

I read this book really fast. It was so good and really made me think that my life is not as bad as I think. It was a book any teenage girl should read. I am a huge Twilight fan but to me I like this book better but then how can u pick between Bubby and Edward haha!! Also to me the book never got boring like most books.

Great quick read but definatly not something i would reccomend if you like a story with a lot of detail. Kind of leaves you hanging at the end too.

I love this book. There is a 2nd book called "Along Way From You" that book is also great and turned toward Kitsy, not Corinne.

If you read this book and want to share your experience with others, then great! Type what you thought of the book. STOP posting annoying comments that have nothing to do with the book. Who puts their number out there? How dumb do people get? Now, I know this review has nothing to do with the book but please, people! STOP posting ridiculous things. _._ Amen.

It was ok. I was expecting more to the ending. It was a way to spend my time, but if I'd known it was going to end so blah I would have done something else.

This book seemed to drag on at points and is certainly vague about details. The character's change was abrupt and there doesn't seem to be a definite moment when her character changes. The ending is EXTREMELY abrupt and it was extremely irritating. There was plenty more that should've been said but wasn't. There's a sequel and I will not read it due to my experience with this book.
