Where I Need to Be (Club 24 #1)

by Kimberly Knight

Spencer Marshall was done moping. After catching her boyfriend cheating with his secretary, she decides to have a girl's weekend in Vegas with her best friend, Ryan. Lady Luck must be looking out for Spencer, because the hottie that has caught her eye at her new gym is on the same flight to Vegas.

Spencer is old-fashioned in the sense that she feels the guy should make the first move, but this hottie hasn't approached her...until they have one hot dance in Vegas that leaves her questioning his motives.

Will her hottie finally speak to her, or will he continue playing a game of flirtation that may lead to nowhere? And will situations from their past keep them from taking the next step?

Despite what people say, not everything stays in Vegas, especially when you work out every day at the same time and at the same gym.

This story is only part one and only 130 pages long. It is not worth $2.99. When will these romance authors realize that in charging this much money for a short story will only get them on my never buy again list?

The story line was good, but the way the people talked and thought were not relatable. I felt like they were fake cheer leaders that were still in high school. This would have been much better if the people were more relatable.

Talk about packing a lot of drama into such a short story-wow! I was so torn rating this. Part of me wanted to give it a 5 for packing such a punch in so few pages. Surprisingly, the romance didn't feel rushed to me, which is refreshing in a romance book. The other part of me didn't like the cliche ex girl girlfriend, although the ending was a tad surprising. It took the clicheness of the story and flipped it. Overall, I give it a 4.5.

4.5 Stars oooooo it was GOOD Just look at the Cover, That is what to expect! and breathe.......calm myself !!! Super hot, there is some drama, with an ex..(Brandon's) well, he should have a few dragging on for dear life really... who would willingly let go of him!! But that adds some fuel to the already hot fire....The roommate is great, typical girl got your back. Looking forward to the next book! A fan of Kimberly Knight !!!!

I more than enjoyed the first installment in the B&S series. You're introduced into the world of Brandon and Spencer and you immediately fall head over heels for these two. Nothing is ever easy, there is always someone or something that wants to ruin a happy ever after and this is no exception. I loved every moment reading this, caught up in the love story that was unique and enticing. I can't wait for the third book. Read Wanted after this one, and you'll see what I mean.

This would be a great beach read. Its a super easy quick read, just lacks enough drama for my tastes if it had more I would easily rate it higher. Characters are likable and the story is good.

Let me tell you that I really don't have anything negative to say, I mean I finished it in a day which means it was so freaking good I couldn't put it down.  Once I started it, there was no way to stop. I liked Spencer and love Brandon so much<3

Brandon is sizzling! Spencer (yes, this is a girl's name) is on the rebound. By pure coincidence she keeps running into Brandon at the gym, then on the plane traveling to Las Vegas, and finally at a club in Vegas where they dance. From the very beginning there is no question they are meant for each other. I enjoyed reading this love story. It has excitement, a douche-bag ex-boyfriend, and other "added attractions" ( no spoilers here)that draw you into the story.

Loved this book.  Hot steamy scenes and nail biting suspense.  What else can a girl ask for!

I rated this 3 stars but I was truly torn and may go back and add a 4th:) I love the story, the characters, and the steamy love scenes. I didn't love the jumpiness of the writing. Something lacked... Better descriptions?? It just didn't flow! Overall I really enjoyed Where I Need to Be and I am looking forward to the next book of this series. I am sure that I will see growth in the writing:)

Ratings are misleading... Everything in this book was way too rushed and I felt like I was reading Sylvia Plath's books all over again only hers actually have substance! I don't recommend this book at all.

Was okay but didn't flow well throughout. Another reviewer said it was like high school cheerleaders would be. I have to agree. I would have given only one star but I got it for free, so....

The writing was middle school juvenile. It was free, but a total waste of valuable time.

This is the first book of the B&S series. Overall this series is definitely worth reading. I absolutely adore Kimberly Knight and don’t want this interpreted as a negative review because it isn’t. I just felt like something was missing & I can’t pinpoint what. It was a bit slow in the beginning but the storyline eventually picks up. IMO each book gets better & I am looking forward to reading Brandon’s POV later this year. Spencer works for a fitness website and will be taking out a trial membership for research. Spencer has been moping around since she walked in on her BF and his secretary. A man at the gym catches her eye and though they run into each other several time, they don’t speak. Spencer and her BFF Ryan decide they both need a weekend away and head to Vegas. It’s in Vegas that she’s introduced to Brandon, the guy from the gym. Later on she learns Brandon owns the gym. They start dating and Spencer has to deal with his past or more specifically the women from his past. Spencer has to decide if this is something she can live with. In the end I have a lot of respect for Spencer because I don’t know what I would’ve done if I were in her shoes. The ending definitely left me excited to see where their story will go. (3.5 stars)
