They say that a good book is one that keeps you turning the pages and wanting to read more. This certainly was the case with "While I Was Out" I have read many books on near-death experiences but none made me feel as if I was right there experiencing everything the author did. You can tell that this book was written from a deep honest level of her heart. Not only was it a very captivating story but one from which many lessons were truly garnered. The author told us the lessons she learned were not just for her but to share with others as well, - she was so right about that, many great lessons indeed. Thank you!

I have read alot of books about NDEs, but Dea's personal account of her afterlife experiance is compiled into a compelling, and well written book. I found it sincere and written in humility, without trying to box the experiance into any religion. I highly recomend this book to all, for an insight to what is to come for us all.

A fabulous read with a message for us all! There seem to be quite a few books about NDEs out there lately but this one stands out. Maltby writes with such passion and detail, it's hard down. She was obviously profoundly touched by her experience.
