PG-RATED FUN by USA Today and Amazon bestselling author Heather Horrocks.
This book is #5 of the popular Chick Flick Clique series set in the close-knit community of Aspen Grove, California. Each are stand-alone books that may be read in any order.
WHILE YOU WERE STRANDED
Grace Holden is on her way up the coast when she runs into two obstacles -- a snowstorm that sends her car sliding off the road and a little white lie that turns her life upside down.
Mechanic Ethan Peterson drives her to Candy's Café, where they run into his on-again/off-again fiancée and he impulsively claims that Grace is his date. Between his lie and her mother's ring on her left hand, rumors abound. He begs her to pretend to be engaged, just until her car is repaired, to help him win back his girl by making her jealous.
Mayor Jake Taylor -- Lindsey's brother -- is struggling to know what to do with Grace. Should he run her out of town for stealing his sister's fiancé? Or kiss her and make her his own?
Ethan and Lindsey continue to do what they do best -- fight! Will they be able to kiss and make up this time? Or is it finally over for this volatile couple?
With friends filling the void in Grace's heart, Aspen Grove is beginning to feel like the home she wants, but will her part in the deception cost her the goodwill -- and perhaps even the love -- of the people she's come to care about most?
This book has been a long time coming.
Author's Note: This book was originally plotted to be the first book in the Chick Flick Clique romantic comedy series set in Aspen Grove, California, kicking off the series with this woman who didn't live in Aspen Grove becoming enchanted with the town (and its mayor). But life, like books, takes twists and turns: another book seemed like a better introduction to the town (Pride and Precipitation), two more books got revised into the series (Regally Blonde and My Spare Lady), and then Fifty Shades of Greystoke jumped out and demanded to be written right now.
So, finally, it's Grace Holden's turn in book #5. I actually think her story is better now because my readers are so familiar with Lindsey and Ethan's on-again/off-again romance and with the other characters in town.
I hope you agree and that you think it was worth the wait.

REVIEW OF BAH, HUMBUG (Christmas Street Romantic Comedy Christmas Novella #1):
"This isn't a book; it's magic. What could be a sappy Christmas story turns into a wonderful, magical, bring-the-family-together Christmas story. I wasn't merely reading Lexi and Kyle's story, I was there with them, being part of their story. I came up for breath only when I was done with the book (I read it at one sitting). I've never given 5 stars to any book. But this is such a wonderful, heartwarming read that I felt compelled to."

About the Author
Raised overseas for her first seventeen years, she hid under the bed with her mother during a South American coup, waterskied through an oil slick in the Persian Gulf, partied with a Kuwaiti princess classmate, flew in and out of the blacked-out Cairo airport mere moments before it was bombed during the Six Day War, rode a camel (and ate a camel steak), crossed the finish line first at Utah's Miller Motorsports Park—and walked on hot coals—without getting burned!—at a firewalk workshop!
She loves anyone who can make her laugh, which explains why she adores her witty husband, her funny friends and sisters, Anne George mysteries, and her cute little dog Gus. She loves to cook for friends, siblings, and especially her children and their families. She and her husband reside in Utah. You can find her online at www.BooksByHeatherHorrocks.com.
