The Empire of Atlantis, at one time the one true paradise on earth, is in decay. Weakness and greed from those in power have allowed chaos and evil to roam throughout the Empire, where it is every man and woman for themselves. But all that has to come to an end.
Can an Emperor, who had a dream so vivid he could feel it, convince his people of the right path? Can an ex-warrior driven by revenge save those he loves? Will a parent's love overcome powers seemingly much greater?
Can the actions of a few good citizens save the Empire from the Great Lord Toral's wrath? Or will the evils of the masses ensure the Empire's destruction?
With twists and turns, betrayals and deception behind every corner, 'Whilst The Angels Slept' delivers a spine tingling journey that will take the reader through every emotion possible.
Daniel Jeanes entwines love, hate, fear and hope with an intriguing storyline that gradually absorbs the reader to the point of no return.
