Loved it! So hard to pick a favorite but this Braden story may just be it. Tempest is looking to do less music therapy and more children’s music groups so she moves to a new town. After living with her cousin for a few weeks who operates on no sleep Tempest rents a room from Nash a single dad raising his 3 year old son. The attraction is intense and immediate but Nash has some old hurts to let go of.

Such a sweet love story

The Bradens continue on with Tempest. She has lots of love. She feels like she has love to give, but the right man must be the recipient of her love and dedication. She did not know that needing that space from family and friends would lead her to a little man that stole her heart. Nash and Phillip had what Tempest needed. Peace and serenity away from her family, but at the same time warmth and genuine atmosphere. Its Tempest turn to find that everlasting, hear warming, soul stirring, life changing love. All done in a way that only Melissa Foster can do it with fun, witt, warmth, sweet, sexy, slow, seduction and compassion.

I had been intrigued by Tempest Braden's character ever since I read the previous books in Love in Bloom series. Tempest has always been the too careful sister, more interested in her music than in chasing romance but when she meets Nash Morgan, the attraction is immediate and intense. Frankly speaking, insta attraction that turns to love in a span of days or weeks is something that acts as a con in a book for me but some books dare me to dislike them and this is one such book. I could not help but fall for Nash and Tempest. The buildup of their relationship is quick but so effortlessly done that every event, every emotion looks natural and has the reader thoroughly engrossed. The whole parent angle is so beautifully developed that being a parent myself, I could be seen nodding at each observation and highlighting all the beautiful quotes from the book! Loved loved loved Philip. He is so cute and adorable. Nash is the kind of hero we all root for. He is brooding, intense, serious and gruff on the outside but with a heart of gold. Emotionally scarred by a few events in his past, he is over protective of his son and afraid to take a leap of faith towards another chance at love. However, he is unable to hold back his feelings for Tempest. Tempest is the serious and careful girl we all have met atleast once in our lives. She is passionate towards her career and too cautious and afraid to trust when it comes to romance. The chemistry between Nash and Tempest is emotionally rich, smoking hot and realistically portrayed that everyone will connect with them. I am a big fan of this series and of Melissa Foster's writing and she doesn't disappoint. Her narration is crisp, engaging and very enlightening. Reading her books is like experiencing life and I always learn so much about people and behaviour from her stories. All in all, Whisper of Love by Melissa Foster is another entertainer and a great addition to her Love in Bloom series. Despite being part of a series, this book can be read as a standalone story. I enjoyed the book and recommend it to all adult romance lovers. 4.5 out of 5 stars to it from me andI look forward to reading more from the author in the future. I received an ARC from the author and the tour organizers and I am very thankful to them. The above review is my honest and unbiased opinion and in no way influenced. This being a Melissa Foster book I immediately had to read it. I stopped very little as I just couldn’t put it down. This is the story of Tempest and Nash. If you love strong female characters, then you will like Tempest. Nash is also an amazing character who is a single father to Phillip. Just like Tempest I immediately fell in love with Nash and Phillip. I really loved how Tempest came and changed both of their lives for the better! This is another great hot and steamy read from Melissa. Even though Whisper of Love is part of a the Love in Bloom series it’s a great book to read by itself. But trust me once you read this book you are going to want to read the rest of the series!

Love is a fragile thing. It is not only hard to come by, but is hard to get perfect. Tempest Braden is a cautious girl by nature. She has always had her close knit family within arms reach, but has decided to fly free and start over in a new town - albeit still close to home with extended family near by (remember--she is cautious to a fault). Nash Morgan has more than just himself to look out for. He is solely responsible for a impressionable three-year old boy (and a mini farm). He is an artist who has put aside his career to raise his young son even though he feels the call of creating loud and clear. This means he needs a little boost in the financial world--and since he has a spare room to rent figures why not? Why not indeed? What could go wrong with inviting a stranger into your home? Tempest needs a quiet place to live. A small farm sounds like the perfect place to write her songs, but can she focus if her new landlord is steamy hot and willing to distract her? I loved every minute of this novel. Yes, it is part of a series, but you'd never know it. I whole heartedly love Foster's writing and can't wait to see what she has in store for the Braden family next.

Whisper of Love first finds us with Tempest Braden, the only female in the Peaceful Harbor Braden family. Tempest (Tempe) has just moved to Pleasant Hill, where her arranged living situation has fallen through. In her search for a place to stay, she finds single Dad, Nash and his adorable son Phillip (Flip). Tempe is very warm-hearted, good-natured and is a music therapist for children. She is a very impelling character. Nash is a very strong, capable man and attentive single father who has gotten so used to doing the whole thing alone, that he doesn't even realize that he could possibly benefit from some outside help, especially when it's being offered by a woman. He is a great father to Flip, maybe a bit to over-protective of him in the beginning, possibly without even noticing it. Phillip (Flip) is an exact miniature replica of his Father, Nash. He's an absolutely adorable little boy who grows on you very quickly in this story. Flip of course takes a little bit of time warming up to Tempe when she first moves in with them, but that is certainly to be expected, especially since he's never really even been around other people, let alone played with children his age or been to a park. The story quickly progresses to where Tempe is offering Nash suggestions on ways he could possibly help Flip to become more sociable with others and also become engaged in activities with other children his age. She is always careful with the way she brings the suggestions in to play, and you can tell she only has both Nash and Flip's best interest at mind at all times. Everything really starts getting good when Nash starts to soften to Tempe, as well as Flip and all three of them begin to notice the positive effects that they are having on each other in way more ways than one. You will most certainly experience a multitude of different emotions while reading this remarkable story and sharing this incredible heartfelt and inspirational journey with Tempe, Nash and Flip. I predict that you, like I, won't be able to put the book down once you have picked it up! Whisper of Love can certainly be read as a standalone, but I should warn you that the entire Braden family can be pretty addicting, and I think you will find yourself wanting to read about each of them in more detail in all of the other Love In Bloom series books. Melissa Foster has definitely delivered top-notch, once again! An easy FIVE-STAR read!!

Love me some Philip If you cannot resist Philip's charm, worst if you meet his Dad Nash? These father, and son is beyond adorable and vulnerable that is why Tempest cannot resist them both. I so loved this story as the rest of Melissa Foster's book. Whisper Of Love is such a heart warming read. It is sweet, funny and at the same time very hot. Nash and Tempest cannot stop kissing. They will make you pant like you are in-front of the fireplace licking an ice cream. This story is so emotional. You might need some extra Kleenex just in case. If you love music, no doubt you will enjoy reading this book. It is also a beautiful story of letting go and pursue your dreams. It is one of the sweetest proposal from Melissa Foster's book. I am so in-loved with Philip even more.

Handsome and Artsy….that’s how Nash Morgan was described on a website when Tempest Braden looked him up. She figured that it was a great combination for a room mate. She had been temporarily bunking with her cousin, but because of the odd hours that she kept, Tempest NEEDED to find her own place where she could get her routine set up. Nash Morgan is a single dad who used to be an artist. He started making furniture when his son was born in order to pay the bills. The furniture is beautiful and original, a nice way to let his love of making something people will love out. However, he longs to get back to the metal sculpting he is known for. But with a toddler, it’s not a safe thing to do. Tempest wants to start her own business, music therapy for children. She also helps out at hospitals with her therapy with the sick children. But her first love is teaching and using her music as a way to heal. This is why she has come to Pleasant Hill. She longs to make a good life for herself. Step one is to find an affordable place to live and set up camp. Enter Artsy and Handsome Nash Morgan and his adorable little boy. Nash is renting a room in his home for extra money so he can focus on his business. Once Tempest moves in with the duo, she starts to notice little quirks about Phillip, Nash’s son. He was almost non-verbal, but not because of anything physically wrong with him, but because of the life he has been living alone with his protective dad. Nash loves his boy more than anything and all he wants to do is raise him in a safe place. Nash didn’t realize the developmental delays because of their secluded existence. The sparks started flying immediately when Tempest and Nash met. Heat and connection, these two can’t keep their hands off each other. He leaned how to be a better daddy because of her and he opened up to the possibility of long term love. This story is so sweet. It brings hope and faith to the forefront and shows that even though bad events happen in your life, there is always a chance at love. Whisper of Love by Melissa Foster is sweet. It reminds you that family is everything, love can be perfect and life is what you make it.

The winner of this book is the boy, Phillip. He had an amazing dad in Nash. Nash changed his entire world to make Phillip his entire world. Phillip also had Tempest. Tempest knew that little boys needed more than just an amazing daddy. She pushed both Phillip and Nash to step out of their wonderful little world and experience the rest of the world. Having both these strong people who loved him so much in his life made Phillip a well rounded, perfect little boy. Whisper of Love is emotional, one of the most emotional books that Melissa Foster has written in this series. I was hooked from the beginning and never stopped reading. The relationship between Nash and Tempe was slow, sometimes excruciating slow, but it was right for them. They had more to consider then just themselves and I respected how they handled having Phillip around. In true Love in Bloom fashion there is so much romance. The way that Nash shows his care to Tempe is absolutely wonderful. From the very first note left in the bathroom to the sitting by the fire playing the guitar he was the perfect gentleman. Now, don’t let me lead you to think that there isn’t the steamy, hot loving between Tempe and Nash…there most definitely is. It is melt your panties hot! Melissa Foster once again wrote a book that I finished in one night and can’t wait to recommend to my fellow steamy romance readers.

Tempest has moved to a new town for a fresh start, but living with her cousin is leaving her sleep deprived and unable to live her life. She looks for a place of her own, and rents a room from Nash and his small son Phillip. Nash is a gruff, secretive man who will do literally anything for his son. They've never been apart, and they can spend a whole day communicating without saying a word to each other. Their love for each other is palpable, but Tempest points out that Phillip isn't learning to socialize or play with others. And Nash has pushed off his love of sculpting to be an amazing father. Can Tempe's sunny disposition and love of life bring Nash and Phillip out of their shells? I absolutely adore this pair, and I wish that I could hang out with them for a day (or a week, or a month!). Their artistic abilities are amazing, and the love and healing that they spread to others is inspiring! I received this book through Beck Valley Books Book Tours, I have volunteered to share my review and all the opinions are 100% my own.

Tempest has a passion for music therapy for children who are sick and has made the move from her home to make things happen, but needs a space away from her cousin to really get work done. Nash is a dedicated single father to his son Phillip, doing whatever it takes to make sure he gives his son what he needs including his time. This means he had to downscale his business and rent out a room to make ends meet. Enter Tempest who makes Nash remember how it feels to be someone more than a father. Before a commitment is made to rent the room, Tempest feels something stirring in her apart from her dedication to her business. When Tempest decides to take the plunge, their journey begins. Melissa always has me ready pack my bags and book a vacation or in this case look for a room to rent for a short time, another great read! *An advance copy of this book was provided to me for review purposes only*

As much as l loved Tempest and Nash together, I think Flip stole the show on this one. Each Melissa Foster book gets better and better, and when I think she can't possibly top herself she does yet again. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this book. #MSBB

I feel so repetitive but I seriously have enjoyed all of Melissa Foster's books. She always has a way with words. I am pulled in and I connect to her characters. This book was no different. Nash and his son need help with money so rent out a room to Tempest. They have both pretty much given up on love and don't expect it to happen. Tempest's siblings are all married and she is left single. Nash has other issues on his mind than a lady. When he rents out that room his life changes. Nash is a great father and very protective of his son and who he lets in their lives. Tempest is great with Phillip (Nash's son). The story is a great love story and was such a sweet one. I really loved it!

I immediately adored Nash and his relationship with his son. So dedicated and protective! His choice of location for their home demonstrates how he wants to put his focus on his son and eliminate all of the stress in the world. Having lost a brother of my own, I felt the pain that Nash felt and the betrayal of his parents pretending that they only had one child. Tempest shows up and despite her own 'careful' attitude in life, when fate is ready, careful flies right out the window! She is the ultimate in sweet when it comes to Phillip and you can help but love their interaction. After watching everyone around her find their happiness, Tempest sets out in search of her own. I giggled at the idea of how she felt suffocated and confined yet she ends up right in the arms of a man who lives by confinement! Such an endearing, emotional story - definitely another 5-star from Melissa! I received this book through Beck Valley Books Book Tours, I have volunteered to share my review and all the opinions are 100% my own.

This one brought tears to my eyes more then once--very happy tears and a big smile at the end! Nash is bringing up his son as best he knows how--and has actually been doing a pretty good job of it. Of course he put his own life on hold totally which is not a very good idea. He needs to rent out a room to make ends meet and Tempest is looking for a room. She calls the number on the tear sheet and calls. She is a little scared but no more then Nash--he has to worry about--will his little boy be safe. Well they finally decide they will both take a chance--and boy do they ever try to ignore the chemistry between them-(there is a little 3 year old boy in the house)! Tempest begins to really observe Phillip and realizes that he needs a lot more then what Nash is giving him-like pre-school and socialization with other children. Will Tempest be able to get Nash to see that Phillip needs more then just him? Will Nash be able to overcome (or at least come to terms with the skeleton in his past. Can Tempest stop being so very cautious? You will just have to read this wonderful book to find out.

Oh wow!! I love The Bradens of Peaceful Harbour and Tempe is so far my favourite. I Loved this story from the very beginning and couldn't put it down. This book is the ultimate definition of a pure Love Story. Tempe's character is so sweet calm and lovable, she is the type that when she loves someone she is all in with her heart. She wasn't looking for love but then again it always catches you when you least expect it. Nash Morgan is looking for someone to rent out a room in his house to so he can save for his son Flip's future and update his furniture making equipment, he definitely wasn't expecting to come across Tempest Braden. Nash is a little gruff around the edges until you get to know him, then you get to see the wounded loving father he is. Once you see the way he interacts with his 3yr old son you will fall completely in love with these two adorable men!! Just like Tempe. Another massive HIT for Melissa Foster. It is an emotional, sweet sexy, swoon worthy read that will have you laughing and crying at the same time and will definitely leave you speechless

I just love Melissa Foster and all her books. I couldn't wait to read Whisper of love! Nash and Tempest are absolutely perfect and they show us how love is supposed to be. This book shows you that even though life can be hard especially being a single parent you can still find love and happiness! Tempest is so sweet, kind, and thoughtful! Helping the sick kids with music therapy is something I just love. I'm a psychology major so the book intrigued that part of me. I found myself trying to think of therapy to help all them but this book covered it well which surprised me. Melissa did her homework researching all that. Tempest was so loving and helpful with Phillip. She just stepped up into the motherly role and I loved that! Then there was Nash which is the definition of a manly man and amazing perfect father. His life revolves around being a awesome dad to Phillip. The attraction between Nash and Tempest is so strong from the moment they meet and there's no denying it no matter how hard they try. I was so happy with the ending! I am also so glad that these books all have HEA and no cliff hangers! definitely recommend this book!

Harriet Martineau once said 'The tempest of passion may be brewing under this soft sunshine.' I am sure we can say that of our Tempest Braden. She is far from a violent storm, but it would be safe to say she is a whirlwind to behold. Nash may be just a bit leary of the gale force attraction they have between them. With the loss in his life plus the responsibilities he has in raising Phillip alone, this woman can cause a major change in his quiet and restrained world. Maybe, just maybe... He should let go of the past and grasp the passion at his fingertips. Who knows, this could be a new life on the horizon. Melissa Foster has succeeded in bringing another original seductive tale. Her tales of love are delightful and entertaining!

Oh me, oh my. I think Whisper of Love just jumped to the top of my favorite romance! I did not want this book to end. Tempest is a careful gal who is moving on to try to make a name for herself and her business. She over analyzes everything and doesn’t take risks. Nash is a single father who’s sole purpose in life is to protect his son. His world literally revolves around Phillip and nothing else. The second Tempe and Nash meet, sparks fly and their romance is so sweet. The added benefit of a hot single dad with an adorable son makes this romance melt your heart. I read this book in two sittings and didn’t want it to end. It was perfect in every way and completely, 100% Braden. I would love to see a second book following up with Tempe, Nash, and Phillip! (Hint hint!)

Another fantastic read by Melissa Foster! Reading this story will make your heart leap with joy and have you believing that there is true love waiting just for you even if you are not looking for it. What could be better than falling in love with not one but two guys? Who wouldn’t be captured by the cutest little boy and his amazing dad? I thought Tru Blue was one of my favorite reads but this one is right up there with it. This book captured my heart from the beginning to the end. It is a feel good story that shows you that love is right around the door if you open your mind and heart for it. The cute little boy, who Tempest called “Flip”, will melt your heart. He idolizes his dad and looks up to him for everything. You will smile and just want to hug the little cutie. I thought the counting game was such a cute touch. Nash was not your typical dad. He was very cautious and protective of his son. This added to the allure of the story and created a man that any woman would want. He took his responsibility seriously and creates a home for his son even when putting his own needs and passion on the back burner. Tempest was so easy to relate and connect with. She had to come out of her shell and take charge of what she wanted. She has a huge heart to help out others even when it drains her emotionally. She is the type of person that anyone would be proud of and want as a friend. She gives everything she has to see to the well-being of others. There were so many emotions that came through this story. A book that can draw so many emotions, keep you engaged from beginning to end, and is well written is a fantastic book in my opinion. Ms. Foster does a great job of spinning a story and grabbing your attention the whole way through. I recommend Melissa Foster’s books to anyone that is looking for a romance that will pull at your emotions and leave you wanting to read more.

Jenthomason1109 More than 1 year ago
I have to start with what wonderful characters Melissa Foster has created in Whisper of Love. Tempest is about as perfect a young woman you could find. She’s beautiful, smart, family-oriented, talented, and compassionate. Although trying to move her business more towards children’s music classes, she has spent several years as a music therapist working with patients having cancer, and even playing and singing for a patient in a coma. Nash seems distant initially, but quickly warms up once Tempest is around. Still struggling with his brother’s death, Nash keeps a lot to himself. Moreover, Phillip’s mother left when he was a few months old, and Nash has completely centered his life around caring for Phillip, but to the point where he needs to start letting go a little. I was surprised at how receptive he was to Tempest’s suggestions for Phillip to go to music groups, preschool, etc. considering it had only been Nash and Phillip for three years, but liked that he was open to her ideas. Phillip was absolutely adorable – specifically in the end of the book – which I can’t tell you about but it’s so sweet! I always love Melissa Foster’s novels and this was no exception. I did find that their story was almost too perfect and too simple at times. This couple had very little conflict to overcome, which was great on one hand, but also seemed to weaken the overall plot on the other hand. Don’t get me wrong, I love HEA novels, but bumps in the road always add to the excitement of the plot. Regardless, Nash and Tempest’s story was wonderful and I particularly loved the interactions between Tempest’s parents and Phillip! Anyone looking to read a feel-good romance, look no further than Whisper of Love. This novel is a feel-good romance that also touches on dealing with pain from the past, as well as, the importance of family. *Thanks to Beck Valley Books and Melissa Foster for providing this ARC in exchange for an honest review!
