Another fabulous read from Addison Cole... This is the story of Mira and Matt. They had previously met each other about a year ago and have remained in contact as "friends." Mira is a single mom of a "nerdy" little boy Hagen. He is such a wonderful and sweet little guy. She works for Matt's father who views her as another child. Mira has been hurt and hasn't been with anyone since Hagen's father. Her only concern is Hagen and being the best mom she can be. Matt, a professor at Princeton and a new and upcoming author with so many choices to make. He just doesn't have the time to stay in one place or be with anyone, he sees much more for his future. He has a past that has basically traumatized him and he still hasn't come to terms with this. Can Mira help Matt through his hurt? Can Matt help Mira learn that it's okay to put herself first once in a while? Can the rest of the Seaside crew help things along? I enjoy that these friends are always positive and doing things together. The joking, the skinny dipping initiation, the friendships that have been built with love and trust. This group of characters are always well written and amazing!! I really liked that everyone was also there for Hagen, he was included in things and it was like he had a bunch of father's to help teach him along the way. He certainly had some male influences but he seems to bond with one male very well, who also happens to realize that he may want more in his life than he ever thought. The books in this series have never disappointed me. They actually make we want to go back to Cape Cod and try and find a group of wonderful friends just like them!! This is a well-written and feel good book. I am voluntarily posting an honest review after reading an advanced copy provided to me by a wonderful author!! Thank you Addison Cole for another great read!!

Audiobook Review… Addison Cole did an amazing job writing the perfect book for Andi Arndt and Sebastian York to narrate. Andi brings Mira to life with her sweet voice, her loving mother voice, and the sexy, shy voice reserved just for Matt. Sebastian does an amazing job of bringing Matt’s serious professor side to life while keeping him sexy and loving for the scenes with Mira. I could feel these characters come to life as they spent time together, learned how to love each other, and how to become a family for Hagen. eBook Review…Oh, Addison Cole, you write such amazing stories with wonderful characters. The Seaside Girls are my favorite friendship ever. They are so strong, sweet, and naughty. They pull pranks, tell secrets to each other, love each other, and love their men so deeply. Each time I pick up a Sweet with Heat: Seaside Summer book I know that I will get to catch up with women. Whispers at Seaside is the story of Professor Matt Lacroux and single mother Mira Savage. The instant chemistry between Matt and Mira is off the charts. There is no doubt that they belong together but there is also Hagen. Hagen is the best character in the story. As Mira’s son, he is the most important person in Mira’s life and anyone who wants to be friends with Mira must be friends with her son. Matt comes in and becomes friends with Hagen from the very beginning, he includes him in discussions, dates, and activities without being put out (heart melting). This book in the series is now my favorite. Matt Lacroux won me over just by his interactions with Hagen. The heat is perfect, the sweetness is wonderful, and the love is just right.

This was probably one of the most heartwarming stories in the series so far, and that has to do primarily with how Matt treats Mira's son. I don't even want kids, and this dude was making me swoon with how he behaved. It was downright adorable. He's also quite good at turning on the smolder. The ARC of Whispers at Seaside by Addison Cole was kindly provided to me by the author for review. The opinions are my own.

I think I've mentioned this before, but when it comes to romance, I love Addison Cole. When I read one of her books I go to my happy place, because the characters are so wonderful. In this book we have Mira and Matt. They are so real and so fabulous oh and they have the most incredible chemistry. I like they have a little dance going on, trying to get together. They both like each other and they are just waiting for the right time to get together. Like all of Addison's books you get family and humor and a little bit of spice. You also get friendship. Matt is really the kind of guy we all want in our lives. He cares not only about Mira, he cares about her son, in such a way that is almost too good to be true. Heck this guy also has a tendency to save people in distress. He's one step below having a halo. No joke. This could be annoying if you didn't love him and want to have him for yourself. The real star of this book is Mira's son. I love love loved this kid. He was a little brainy boy. Totally adorable. I loved that their vacation involved visiting libraries. Seriously though, he needed to go to TN. Cos there is a fabulous library in Brentwood. He's totally precious. With each book, I think I have a new favorite, but because of Mira and her son Hagen, I'm almost 100 % sure that this one is my absolute favorite.

When I read a new book in this Sweet with Heat series I feel like I'm visiting with old friends. The Seaside girls and their antics always make the read even more fun. I loved watching the relationship build between Matt and Mira but Hagen was the icing on the cake. Matt and Mira independently are both great people and I think that made it even easier to root for them to be together. This series is so heartwarming and this book so much more because of the family that was built by love. I can't wait to see what the Seaside group will do next.

It took me a little bit to write this review and I read parts of it again and again, but it is hard to write my feelings on this book. It is utter perfection and the way my heart felt while reading was full. There are no bad parts in this book. There is only love: love between a man and woman, friend love, a mother's love, and a sweet love for someone else's child. And when the main male character is described like David Gandy who whispers all the delicious, naughty things he wants in her ear and in the next moment tells her he adores her son, there is swooning. It has been a while since I have felt so strongly about a book, but this one hit me in the heart. The other books in this series that I have read are great, but I think this one is my favorite. I received this book in exchange for an honest review from the publisher through Netgalley.

Another great sweet romance. It is easy to dig into these plots. The characters in this series are well developed and sweep you into their individual stories. Matt is just the kind of guy a girl like Mira needs. Not only is he the perfect 'guy' but he seems to be dad material which is what Mira's son needs. This story got to me. The plot of the single mom needing a good man that accepts and wants her son is near and dear to me. It is good to read this kind of sweet story. A 'Happy Ending' for Matt and Mira and some of their friends makes this one just a good read. I enjoyed Whispers at Seaside at look forward to much more from this series. I received a complimentary.

This is the story of Matt Lacroux and Mira Savage. Matt has wanted to be with Mira for a long time, however it has never been the right time for them. Both of them have things that in their minds keep them apart. For Mira it’s that she is a single mom, who is dedicated to raising her son Hagen. For Matt it’s the fact that he lives in a different state than Mira. In my opinion neither of these is a good enough reason. I absolutely love their story and believe that they are a match made in heaven! Matt Lacroux is a University Professor who has taken a sabbatical and came back to Seaside to work on a book. It’s in Seaside that he happens to reconnect with Mira who works in his fathers hardware store. They had met the year before and Matt is very happy to reconnect with her. As a mom I love how great Matt is with Mira’s son. There is also a perfect chemistry between Matt & Mira. Final verdict… This is a great romance story of two friends who make an amazing couple! I also really liked the fact that this book takes part in Cape Cod. Maybe it’s my love for the Cape that made this story more special! If you like stories that have a lot of romance without all of the heat this is definitely a great book for you!

A heartwarming and passionate love story! Whispers at Seaside is the tenth book in the Sweet with Heat series. A well-written book that will keep you entertained from beginning to end. This story is full of passion and plenty of romance. It is so easy to feel a connection to and like all of the characters. When I finish reading the book, I feel that the characters are friends, the next-door neighbor, and even part of my family. Each story in this series, has a new storyline that each one of us can relate to and learn from. I never know what to expect with the antics that the seaside girls come up with in each book. This is a great addition to each book in the series! It definitely adds to the humor in the book. Addison does a great job of intertwining characters from previous books into each book. The story focuses on the main characters but the additional information and previous characters really add to the story and make them all feel connected. Addison Cole does a wonderful job of weaving romance with humor and passion while adding in heartache that ends with the happy-ending that we come to expect. I know when I see her name on a book that it will be an entertaining and enjoyable book that I won’t be able to put down. Addison Cole definitely has a gift for writing spectacular stories! I have not been disappointed with a book yet! Definitely, an author that you will want to keep on the top of your go-to list. If you enjoy reading a sweet romance with a touch of humor, then you will thoroughly enjoy this book and the series. A truly captivating, emotional and heartwarming read.

Jeepers - where is my Matt? For real!! Matt is total swoon-worthy (well, all of the Lacroux brothers have been) but falling for a single mother and wanting to be an active father figure for her child - YES, please!! I had my fingers crossed for Mira that Matt would make the right choice for the future. As I have said before, this series has been such fun and truly enjoyable to read. Loving every book in this series!

I just loved this book. I was hooked right from the beginning. One of my favorite parts of the book is Matt interacting with Mira's son. Hear melting moments for sure. I liked seeing all my favorite people in the Seaside series. What I loved about this book is it has the perfect combination of humor and heart. There are many swoon worthy moments from Matt. Most importantly for me this book sucked me in and I just couldn't put it down. I would highly recommend this book because after reading it my heart was happy sighing. That's always a good indicator for me how good the book was.

Single Mom Mira Savage has her share of challenges, with two jobs on her shoulders and trying to keep up with her son she's got a full schedule that doesn't have much room for anything else, or so she thought. Mira has had her share of heart aches,  and still feeling the burn from her last go at love the last thing she has her eyes on is anything romantic, that was until her secret crush shows up in town again. Easy on the eyes and creating some day dreams she can't ignore,  Mira is struggling to put aside her thoughts about her boss's son, Matt Lacroux.  Matt has his eyes set on becoming Dean at Princeton, but with things seemingly up in the air at the moment he decides to take a much needed break and start in on his novel. His focus on the other hand when he arrived home was on anything but his novel, and all on Mira. Feelings that had risen at their last encounter all came crushing back , but this time it seemed that the feelings were not one sided as he had originally thought.  He thinks highly of her and knows she works hard not just at her job, but as being a great mother to her son, who he adores, which makes it even harder to get a grip on his feelings.   There's just one problem, he hadn't planned on staying and his life was back at Princeton while Mira's was solely at Cape Cod.  Though plenty of doubts are swirling around both of them, Mira and Matt find it hard to ignore what is happening between them and try to find out just what exactly it is that they have going on. As time passes though they both start to face the reality of the future and just how unknown it is for them. Both Mira and Matt have a life they have built and are proud of, miles away from each other, and neither are eager to leave it behind. The difficult decision weights them both down, but will their love prevail? You'll have to read Whispers At Seaside to find out!  Whispers At Seaside was a wonderful heartwarming book,  definitely pulls at you. While there is plenty of romance, there is also a lot of challenges for the characters. Which is nice as life isn't all fun and games, not always easy,so you can identify with what happens as the story unfolds. A nice read, very well written and relatable characters as well.

Addison does it again with another adorable and joyful read. I will have to say that Whispers at Seaside is my absolute favorite so far. I loved every bit of Matt and Mira's story and I couldn't put the book down. No, seriously I read this book in a day and a half and I was sad when it was over.  Mira is a single mom who works for her crushes dad, and when Matt comes back to town love will fly. These two have chemistry from the start and it was so much fun watching their love grow. Now, my most favorite character was definitely little Hagen! He was so gosh darn adorable, and his relationship with Matt made the story even more perfect.

Mixing business and pleasure can often result in disaster – but Addison Cole always has a way of making situations go up in flames (in a sexy way!). Matt and Mira had a connection a year prior but with the only type of relationship available – long distance – they parted ways. Working for his father, along with being a single mother, Mira felt it was best to keep it that way. When he returns to work on his book, the sparks are still there. I love how they both put their responsibilities first and thought about ALL parties involved. The sexiness of an author is more than Mira can withstand and soon, their story starts to get steamy….so steamy that it’s like when you wipe off the bathroom mirror and it’s instantly fogged up again! As time passes, I found myself wondering who, if either of them, was going to up-root their life to make a big change for the other. I could see how difficult of a decision that would be and my heart broke along with theirs! Such a sweet couple in the mix of the group of friends! Each book opens new sides to the friends and I fall in love all over again! I received this book through Beck Valley Books Book Tours, I have volunteered to share my review and all the opinions are 100% my own.

I loved and respected Mira as a single, hard-working mother - especially the way she put Hagen above all else, constantly concerned with his feelings as her and Matt’s friendship started to evolve. But on that same note, I loved how she slowly began thinking of herself also, realizing that she could be a mother and have someone special in her life. Mira’s character was smart, funny, beautiful, caring, but along with that, she was also modest. Matt definitely had an odd, dorky side, but overall, he was just completely sweet, sexy, and irresistible. Although I loved Matt and Mira, I have to say that little Hagen stole the show in this one. The bright, funny, creative, and intuitive young boy created by Addison Cole was just too adorable for words. I loved his perspective and honestly, as well as, his huge heart. His relationship with Matt, Neil, and the rest of the guys just made him that much cuter! Once again, Addison Cole has created such a romantic and heart-warming story that still had just enough steamy moments to keep things sexy. Matt and Mira’s story is a beautiful portrayal of love, taking chances, making changes, and the wonderful gift of friends that turn into family. The love in this series just continues to grow and Cole continues to make my heart smile with her creative, romantic, and hilarious tales set in Wellfleet. I know this series will eventually end, but hopefully no time in the near future!

Matt is a college professor at Princeton University. While he loves his job, he’s been feeling restless, and thinking he might want a change. He decides to take a three month sabbatical and go back to the Cape where his family is after receiving an offer to write a book, which he’s always wanted to do. He misses seeing his dad and his brothers, but more than that, he misses Mira, who works for his dad. Matt met Mira over a year ago at his brothers engagement party and they’ve been friends ever since. Not only does Matt love being around Mira, but her six-year old son, Hagen, reminds him so much of himself at that age. Hagen is a self proclaimed “nerd”. He’s incredibly smart and everyone adores him. After arriving at the Cape, Matt has a run in with a shower head and runs to his fathers hardware store in town to grab a new one. When he gets there, Mira is still working on the books in the office. And this is where it really gets good! The chemistry between Matt and Mira is off the charts, but they’re both so cautious about starting anything between them because Matt doesn’t know where he’ll be after the three months ends. The more time they spend together though, the harder it is to keep their hands off each other! Mira is so protective of Hagen and worries about him getting too attached to Matt. Meanwhile, Matt is realizing how strong his feelings for Mira and Hagen are and is starting to reevaluate his own life. I really enjoyed watching the relationship between not only Matt and Mira, but also Matt and Hagen grow. Hagen is such a sweet, intelligent little boy that you can’t help but smile when you read some of the funny things he says. And Mira is such a wonderful, loving mother that you can’t help but be happy to see her get a chance at real love! I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review. I would highly recommend this book!

Matt has been dedicated to reaching his career goals for years but after he met Mira at his brother's engagement party he just can't stop thinking about her. Mira also can't seem to get Matt out of her mind, but she has to think about her son and what's best for him. When Matt finally takes a sabbatical to work on his book it gives him a chance to reconnect with Mira and his family. It takes him no time to connect with Mira and Hagen. There's some hesitation on Mira's part, he's only home for a few months and she's afraid to get attached for fear it won't just hurt her but also her son. But Matt loves being with Hagen, he's extremely patient, protective, fun and oh so hot! It's such a fun read, seeing these two work things out. Love how the Seaside girls and their guys get involved and help out but are also very quick to include the new additions. This one is definitely my favorite in this series! I received an ARC and am voluntarily leaving my honest review.

Matt, Mira and Hagen - fabulous! This is Matt and Mira’s (and Mira’s son Hagen’s) story. And it is fabulous! Mira is a single mother struggling with 2 jobs, trying to raise the smartest little boy ever on her own. With everything going on in her life, her lowest priority is herself. Then Matt comes back to town. Mira has had a crush on him forever. But Matt works as a Princeton professor hoping to become Dean. But it doesn’t look like that dream has any chance of reality in the near future. Matt is frustrated, but he enjoys writing and he is finding spending time with his family is fulfilling a need he didn’t realize was missing. When he starts spending more and more time with Mira and her son Hagen, he realizes, she is what has been missing from his previous life and he goes all in to the relationship. Mira is working one of the jobs as bookkeeper for Matt’s father at his hardware store. Mira has an idea to create a co-op with other small businesses to increase their buying power and help them all from going under. Matt convinces Mira and his father to give the idea a go. A lot of hard work, help from the Seaside girls, and support from Matt make the idea workable and Mira has to convince the other businesses to give it a try. Along the way, Matt and Mira and Hagen fall in love and become a family. I loved this book because of the relationships slowly building, and especially the love between Mira and her son, Mira and Matt, and particularly Matt and Hagen. It was wonderful to read how Hagen and Matt connected and how Matt did so many things to make Hagen feel loved. This is my favourite of the Seaside Summers Sweet with Heat series!

LOVED this book! I was a little bit concerned when I first started reading this book since I normally am not such a fan of a romance when one part of the couple already has a child but Hagen completely stole the show! Matt and Mira's relationship progressed slowly because they both took Hagen's feelings into account the entire time. Both Matt and Mira had their own struggles to grapple with in the book but as they grew closer, they both realized that they are stronger as a team. I also enjoyed how this book tied up many storylines of other characters in the sweet with heat series, giving everyone a happy ended. I can't wait for the next book in this series.

Matt and Mira have been swooning over each other for well over a year, but with Mira being a single mother living in Seaside, and Matt being a professor at Princeton the timing was never there. Matt takes three months off to work on a book and decides to write it in Seaside… He goes to his father’s hardware store (where Mira works) to get a new shower head and runs into Mira. That is where the magic starts. This couple is so wonderful. Matt clicks with her son Hagen and they make plans to do so many cool things. Matt treats Hagen like the smart little boy that he is and teaches him many things from building robots to boats. This is a wonderful love story that has a few twists and turns and a little bit of sweet heat. Mira is one lucky lady! Whispers at Seaside is an easy read that just makes you swoon!

Matt Lacroux is ready for his happy ending. He is a college professor but he took a sabbatical to write a book. He hadn't been home for a year, but he decided to return home from Princeton to write. Mira is a single mother, who is doing her best to raise her little son who is genius smart. A chance encounter leaves Mira & Matt talking. I loved how Matt, Mira & her son formed relationships, that they supported each other. Mira tried to hold back some knowing that after 3 months Matt would be returning to Princeton but it didn't work. They all fell for each other.

This was the perfect book to close out the Seaside stories. There was a glimpse of some of the Bayside characters that we'll be getting to know soon. I love these Sweet Heat stories. Steamy scenes are great, but sometimes its fun to just imagine what happens next once the heat starts kicking up. I love that Matt treats Hagen as not just Mira's kid, but someone he can love too. Single moms that give their all like Mira does deserve love too, and they're a package deal. Matt gives that to both of them, and even realizes a few things himself about family.

“You deserve romance, and I want to be the man who gives it to you.” Matt Lacroux is a Princeton professor, a writer and a protector. He lives a quiet life teaching and doing research papers and aims to be the next dean. He doesn’t date much and he won’t get intimate with anyone without having deep feelings for them. Mira is a single mom to a lovely smart little boy and she works as an accountant for Neil Lacroux waiting to pass her CPA exam. She loves being a mom, has a quiet life and great friends. She hasn’t been on the dating scene since she had her little boy and she is now yearning for a man but she wants to protect her son’s feelings at all cost. When the two meet they are instantly taken by each other but they remain only friends for the past year. With each visit, their attraction grows and becomes more intense. When Matt decides to take a sabbatical and move back to the Cape; he is smitten by Mira and her little boy and it makes him realise all he has been missing on; a quieter life, less stress, being close to his brothers, sister, father and niece. And most of all the beautiful Mira that makes him want more out of life. Matt Lacroux was a nice surprise to me because he is so different from his alpha male brothers and I loved it. He is quieter with a little superhero side and when you find a man that loves your kid as much as Matt does, you can’t help but love him even more. Mira is a strong single mom and she reflects what kind of challenge it can be to raise a child on your own. I literally fell in love with that sweet couple and Hagen’s innocence brings a soft, entertaining side to this beautiful story.
