Anthony Blackwell or Poohgie as his mother and siblings call him because of his love for Winnie the Pooh, keeps waking up with his entire body covered with perspiration and his heart racing. He curses God and tells Him he does not need heaven. He does not need
His pity or mercy. "How can You have mercy on me now after what You've allowed?"

Through harsh trials and tribulation, Cassandra, Poohgie's mother realizes the great love that exist and continues to grow within her family. How can God destroy a family like this?

For years he and his family have relived day after day and dream after dream the horrifying murder of his father and older brother by what is defined as justice or the law.

When can parents have the right to discipline their children without the interference of those who actually give the children the power to govern their parents.

It makes Poohgie furious to know and experience the heart break of loving parents being murdered for loving their children.

Will whites and blacks respect the blood that flows in each others veins and form a new harmony?

Can a mad man's tactic really work?

Poohgie has revealed his secret, what will happen now?

Will he be turned in?

Will he have to kill?

Poohgie shows the "enemy" how he loves the world through his eyes. What it is like to be a black man in America. How it feels to be judged because of how you look and not your defined character. How unjust the judiciary system really is. He discovers he is equally guilty of the hate and prejudice he fights against, and once again prays to a God he has dismissed.

Will this end in a win win scenario, or will the walls be painted in red?

Will the sleeping God intervene?

Will Satan prevail?

Will there be peace after all?

Do you want to know?

Whiteout!.. Peter D Chisholm story.

About the Author

Born in London England and raised by his grandaunt on the beautiful Island of Jamaica,
Peter D Chisholm has a story to tell. Being raised in the church and growing in a tight knit family, Peter was thrown off his traditional course when he landed in Queens
New York and faced racism and hate at an early age.

He was taught to love every one and found it odd and hurtful to be hated by people who looks just like him. At his time of arrival in New York up until this very day, many Black
Americans dislike blacks from the Caribbean for some illogical reason or another.

That negative attitude that faced him brought about the Peter D Chisholm that exist today. After High School, Peter spent some time in Marietta Georgia where he lived with his uncle and his family.

They were surrounded by white folks who treated them like family. He quickly learned that like himself, even if you were taught to hate, there should be a hardcore reason behind that negative emotion and it should not be based on skin color, culture, religion, or the neighborhood you live, there were people just like him, innocent and judged.

Peter returned back to New York where he went to College and participated in Political
Science, Black History, and became a celebrity student writing for the college newspaper.

Peter started his own Independent Recording Label after many rejections in the music business.

Married with six kids, Peter D Chisholm feels it is time to try to reach today's youths in ways that may not be accepted by educators in North America.

Being God fearing, many folks questions Peter for his songs where he dwells on what the world may find offensive as topics for his songs.

He plans to write screenplays and hopefully direct movies. Peter feels he has a long and lengthy journey which the battle will be trying and his responsibility will be heavy in his teaching. He feels the world is not ready for his ideas, but Peter D Chisholm do not care what the world thinks of him, he only hopes his books, songs, and movies will wake up the sleeping world to the reality that exist in which all humankind can benefit.

I have been following Peter Chisholm on Facebook, and finally gave in and so I ordered Whiteout! I apologize for not doing this sooner. I cannot speak for anyone else, but I find Whiteout very intriguing and beneficial to my way ways of thinking. I belong to several radical groups who are fighting against the every day current events involving police brutality and black men being murdered by both white justice, and other black men! Wow is all i can express at this moment! I cannot believe Mr. Chisholm wrote Whiteout in 2010! Every thing in Whiteout seems to be coming true today! Reading the daily posts on Facebook is leaning either towards hate, or comedy, but in my reading and comprehension of the story in Whiteout, Peter Chisholm is not only giving us some real history, he is giving us a guideline to follow!  It is up to us to see his point of view!! What I loved the most in Whiteout is, the family structure! It is very strong. Love and God and the definition of friendship and unity was very much in your face! The sex and romance is real as real can be. Loved the truth in what is and will be facts about domination and supremacy! Loved the fact that he addressed not everyone is hateful, and that more love is in the world, but drowned by media promoted hate! The fact that he taps in to government secrets is also mind blowing! it's mind blowing because Whiteout's description of them are suppose to be fiction... but it is too real! Loved the idea of unity that made respect become! In the end, the recognized unity, the walking together not just as blacks or minorities, but whites as well brought about a truce that eventually can lead to peace. Hopefully Mr. Chisholm has a continuation of Whiteout to come. i will conclude that Whiteout is engaging, captivating, motivating (for me), real, amazing and prophetic, teaching, and full of definition in love and friendship!!! As a ex-gang member and now minister, Whiteout should not be viewed as negative in the Christian World, but a way and guideline to reach the youths who may not understand basic language, for to me... Whiteout was written for THEM to catch their attention. Thumbs up for Whiteout! JP

There is so much truth in this fiction that I consider it non-fiction. The technology down to the hate is all real and the government has many secrets they are hiding from us! What has me motivated is the love in this family. That love is missing in so many lives today. Although i cannot relate to being black, I understand the struggle. Peter Chisholm reveals this truth in a way even myself and other cultures can understand. I really love this book! I will recommend all who i know to read it! Really good book!!

I really love this book!! I didn't know that I could learn so much truth in history in a fiction as I did in this book. I know it is real for my grandfather told me so before he died. Reading this book only brought my grandfather back from the dead. Great job Mr. Chisholm. Everyone should read this book. Those who find a problem with your story are those who have a problem with themselves! I am now a fan!!

Bravo to the Author Peter D. Chisholm. The book WHITE OUT was engaging, captivating and identifiable. Two thumbs up on executing such penmenship in creating a personal reflection that every reader can grasp. The journey of the BLACKWELL family in the book represented strength, unity, family and foundation. I was mesmerize with Poohgie as his life set the bar for others to reach. Yet since he set it, even his stance became slippery. This book will have you thinking about sex, time, priority and prospective. This book is for first time readers, regular readers and all in between. You won't be able to put it down, it is a page turner. Reading his next book ANGEL.

I found the book quite educational. It would be crazy, but in a good way if people of color and whites actually got on the grind and put the hate behind. What a beautiful world it would be. Unfortunately Peter it will not happen! But your story is truly off the chain! I would recommend everyone to read this book! It has so much for everyone to think about. It certainly had me on more than ten occasions going... hmm??

Finished Whiteout yesterday and it really made me cry! Made me think of myself and the love war relationship I had with my wife and now she is gone due to cancer. When she was alive I was always trying to express that although she is my wife she can never know what I and black people go through being black. I was never truly accepted in her family and their acceptance was the greatest fake. After she died that assumed theory became fact in my face. We battled for I knew she loved me but the world hated me, even more so with my people! I felt like Julius in the story, envied for for wife! The story may have been fiction, but it is a true! Young people worldwide need to read this book!!

I read many books that is fiction, but this fiction is the best in truth I have ever read. I was so surprised with it's contents that I found myself researching many things for my own satisfaction. Hate seems to envelope this earth, and it's not hiding but instead showing it's ugly face. I must say I enjoyed the love this family have towards each other and close friends. If only it could be like that in reality! What grabbed my attention the most is how the author mixed the Creator or God into his story. This is a must read especially for todays young men and women. I look forward to the next book!

I don't read too many books period, because most are totally fairytale or too boring! But Whiteout is crazy real although it is fiction. I related to two characters in the book because I lived their lives, thank God I changed. This book was recommended in the area of black history, but I learned more about God and spirituality than even history. Dam good book!!

Whiteout is simply amazing....It is a must read, you will not get bored! Once I picked the book up I could not put it down. This book made me cry, It educated and empowered me and opened my eyes to our society. You saw a black man with power in society but only his family truly knew his power. You see a system that condones and overlooks abuse and discrimination against African Americans. This book showed me the racism that still exist today even though it is more disguised, it is still very much present. This book is very dramatic and informative with a touch of romance. That is very difficult to incorporate those elements into one book. As an African American woman I can say I looked up to patricia. She is very smart and cares about her family, although she is young, mentally and socially she is way beyond her years and this character shows us that young people are very aware of what is going on in the world, it is just up to us to hear what they have to say. Kudos to the awesome author!!! I'm ready for the next book :-)

the story is raw and very realistic. At first a bit slow but then it takes you for a roller coaster ride, one that is sad, frightening but uplifting. Ideal material for a movie, one that I would watch.

If you have read any of Donald Goines Books especially Keyetta, than this book is for you.Poohgie is like Kenetta,in the sense that he decides to take the law in his own hands. The difference is Poughie is so cunning that he infratates the white Justice Department and organizes a militant group aimed at facilitating Equal Justice for every American. What i enjoyed most about this book is how Poohgie uses not only his intellect but how he educates the reader about some of the great things that African Americans and other minorities have contributed to this country.America is supposed to be the land of the free so why haven't African Americans been given the recognition that we deserve for our past accomplishments and why aren't we living up to our potential? Find out more in White Out.

The idea of UNITY among all is not a vision that has not been thought of, but the way unity materialized in this book is interesting. I like it! Don't know if minorities will ever band together like in this book, but dismissing the negative, if we all took the positive and applied it... Wow!!

Not much of a reader, but after the first 20 pages I couldn't put the book down. I have given the book to my wife and I'm ordering another copy for my oldest son. Maybe he will listen to me now that he sees someone else, a published author saying the same thing.

The book was a little hard to sallow at first because of the rawness and language, but I realize that it kept me wanting to find out what happened next. I feel Afro American along with White America and every other race could learn quite a few things from this book. Young folks and teenagers especially would get a lot from this book. I truly fell in love with this book and now it's one of my favorite! Can't wait for the movie to hit the screens.

Just finished this book, and i must say I was surprised at his fiction that are actual facts. I especially loved the romantic side of this tale. I am not religious or belong to any particular church, but I do agree that when I forgive those who come against me, I do feel a lot better. If there is one thing I got out of this book, it is important and can be healthy to learn to forgive. I recommend this book to all!!

I was introduced to this book by the bookclub I'm a part of. Bravo bravo!! I believe there are so much lessons, that I gave this book to my teenage son to read. Hopefully he will get some things out of it like I did that can make him think differently. Too much negative influences are captivating our youths. The real world is in this story. The hate that so many of us have, needs to be addressed. This book certainly addresses some topics that are every day happenings. This book should be a required reading for all high school students.

Wow Mr. Chisholm, your book is awesome! I think it would be a beautiful thing if we all put our differences aside and believed more in God like the book suggests. I think the characters are great and that that may be fiction characters, there has to be the real ones walking the world. I got so much positive lessons in this book, and more so a lot of history, black history! Enjoyed it!

I love this book! Although fiction it was real! I learned so much about the injustice that parades US grounds. I know a lot of what's in this book is true and happy to know I am for everyone! I am white, and I recommend not just minorities to read this book, but everyone! I applaud Peter Chisholm for his views and truth.
