Who Built the Moon? by Christopher Knight, Alan Butler

The authors of Civilization One return, bringing new evidence about the Moon that will shake up our world. Christopher Knight and Alan Butler realized that the ancient system of geometry they presented in their earlier, breakthrough study works as perfectly for the Moon as it does the Earth. On further investigation, they found a consistent sequence of beautiful integer numbers when looking at every major aspect of the Moon—no such pattern emerges for any other planet or moon in the solar system. In addition, Knight and Butler discovered that the Moon possesses few or no heavy metals and has no core—something that should not be possible. Their persuasive conclusion: if higher life only developed on Earth because the Moon is exactly what it is and where it is, it becomes unreasonable to cling to the idea that the Moon is a natural object. The only question that remains is, who built it?

This has been scientifically explained in the last few years. It was a collision during the formation of the solar system in which the moon was originally the size of mars and it collided with the earth and most of the matter was "absorbed" by the earth and that is what contributed to the earth's core makeup and the reason the earth has the largest moon in proportion to its size. I didn't care for this book very much and took giant leaps to believe what they wrote. I did enjoy Civilization One however.

I bought this book on a whim because everything about it seemed interesting. Who wouldn't be interested in a book that claims some proof that the moon is an artificial object? I breezed through it very quickly to get to the Authors conclusions. I consider myself a very open minded person. All of the facts the Authors present are amazing and definitely prove the case for science to 'dig a little deeper'. Unfortunately, the end conclusion the Authors come up with doesn't make any sense. Again, I am very open to any idea you want to throw at me. I think the problem was that the Authors stated their idea without giving sufficient cause for why. And I must point out that the authors pose the question 'who built the moon?', but the book is only like 1/3rd about the moon and 2/3rds a history lessson. A good book to read simply for the facts the put forth. It will make you think!

I can tell you which person built it. No one. God created the moon.
