About the Author
George Hyduk is a retired technical art illustrator for the Avco Corp. Past publications include stories about living through the Great Depression in the 1930s, published in the Tampa Tribune and Mid Valley Newspapers. George also wrote a story of his experience aboard The Destroyer Escort during WWII, which was sent to the Library of Congress in Washington, DC. As of this book's publication, George is 97, and lives in Largo, Florida.
