How could this happen through such pain and misery?

About the Author
I went to college at Eastern University, at that time it was known as Eastern Baptist College. I went there straight from high school; little did I fathom what would transpire in my life. Yet I had a loving Savior who kept me in His arms and delivered me through. I married and had three daughters. By 1981, I felt that I needed to do more to stay focused on what my children were doing in school and wanted to be part of their growth. I visited Eastern again; spoke with one of the professors who encouraged me to re–enroll in courses that would expedite my graduation. Finally, in 1984, I graduated and did substitute teaching for 2 years. I became a full–time sub at High Point, and the following year was hired as one of their fourth grade teachers. Teaching fourth grade was my passion in life. I enjoyed being where God had placed me, including having my own daughter as a student in my second year of teaching.
Unfortunately, my stint as a teacher was cut short by an automobile accident. Through many years of frustration, counsel and seeking other’s advice, I finally with heavenly help wrote the following book.
After teaching for many years, I decided to further my ed-ucation and enrolled at West Chester University. I graduated from this institution while I lay in a hospital bed at my home. I have been through the “wringer” yet God has watched over me seeing me through all of these episodes in my life.
