Why You Don’t Die in Dreams by Debbie Zello is an amazing story full of twists and turns you aren’t so sure just what you want to believe in this book. The author orchestrated each twist and turn perfectly as well. The author presents you with multiple scenarios and you are left scratching your head in wonder. I must say I loved this book, the writing styles and its many plot twists and turns. Debbie Zello is an artistic mastermind.

Why we don't die in Dreams by Deddie Zello was truly something out of this world. What and mind-bender. I'm still reeling and I need to read the next book asap. This book is what makes me love mystery-thrillers so much. They are heard to figure out, twist on twist inside of twist. And oh boy did this book have twists! At one point I back peddles just to make sure I didn't miss anything. I love books with detectives, especially when they're homicide detectives. I don't know why, but I've always been drawn to thee types of books. They are my next favourite to YA. (Talk about an extreme) Debbie Zello killed it with this book, it was straight out of a movie, no better. I had flash backs to Seven, and Zodiac. The writing has this heavy feel, keeping you slightly flustered and on edge. You were justas involved with this thriller as Gavin McLean. On top of the on going mystery, there were plenty of sexy scene's to get that blood flowing, and it was a nice brake for the heaver themes. It was a good balance. Speaking of, this whole book was balanced out near perfectly. No plot holes, to filler and I can't tell you enough about the twist and turns! Oh an the ending! I can't even right now.. I need to get my hands on the next book. My mind is trying to piece it all together. I'm going to have to read this again, to see what I've miss, little clues and things that might have seem insignificant at the time. If you haven't guessed, I highly recommend this book. It's a dark thriller, that will having you second guessing everything until then end. These are the best kind, because I'm skill tying to figured it all out. Happy Reading -E.A. Walsh

WOW!! I was completely blown away by Why We Don’t Die in Dreams by Debbie Zello. This book has got it all – mystery, romance, suspense, and intrigue. The whole story centers around homicide detective Gavin McLean and his life outside of the norm from his siblings. Every night Gavin dreams of a beautiful woman, so beautiful that she would turn any man’s head, and yet the dream doesn’t go like he would expect. Right before he wakes up she in on her knees begging for her life! What?? That part threw me through a loop, making me wonder just what this book was all about. The twists and turns that happen in this book will keep you on the edge of your seat trying to figure out the dreams and the whodunit behind the dead girl in the dumpster. There were many times that I found myself not able to put this one down, reading faster and faster just to figure out the next clue in the writing. Zello is a new to me author, and boy am I glad that I picked this book up. Her cover art is what initially drew me in, but her writing style is what made me stay from start to finish. I can’t wait to pick up more of her works and get to reading!

Why We Don't Die In Dreams by Debbie Zello is a thriller, mystery, erotic romance story. This is not my first story with this author, the one thing I enjoy about her books is the twists and turns that she creates. They will leave you sitting on the edge of your seat waiting to see what will happen next. Her writing style is enjoyable and engaging. Her characters are connectable, lovable, and true to life. They will take you on a roller coaster ride of various emotions from laughter to anger. They will pull you into their world with little effort and make you feel like you are right there with them. This is the story of Detective Gavin McLean. He puts everything he has into his job which leaves little time for sleep. Because of this he starts having a dream that can't be explained and it is the same dream every time. When he catches a case with a dead naked woman in the dumpster, he questions his dreams even more. This investigation is messing with his head and you will find that it just may be messing with yours too. What does one have to do with the other? Is there danger that is lurking where no female is safe? There is no doubt, this author will use these characters to pull you into a world of suspense, mystery that you will never see what is lurking in the shadows. The secondary characters are both good and evil but the story wouldn't be the same without them. They are all strong characters that have their own personality and strengths. I enjoy Gavin's character. He is sassy and knows what he wants and how to get it. He is not afraid to bend the rules to get the answers he is in search of. Just when I thought I knew where this story was going bam, another twist and another direction. I highly recommend this story as I know you will want to see what Gavin gets himself into and if his dreams come true. I can't wait the next installment in this story, I know it will have just as much suspense and twists.

Gavin is a homicide detective who has let his job take over his life, except at night. While he sleeps he has recurring dreams of a strange woman. The problem is that she is not in a good situation when he sees her and seems to be about to die in a horrible way. Gavin continues on in his life until the woman from his dreams is found....at once of his crime scenes. Now he can see all of her, and not just what was in his mind. Sadly there is nor too much more that can say that would not give away too much of the book. All I can say is that you need to read it to understand. Between his life and dreams poor Gavin seems to be living multiple different lives. This book was worded great and really had you able to imagine them in your minds eye. I liked the characters and even felt sad for poor Gavin. There are many twists and turns, enough to keep you guessing. The book will leave you wanting more, I know I am. This is a cliffhanger ending just so that you know.
