This is one of the most down to earth, funny and helpful books I have ever read. I recommend it for everyone. If you don't find valuable tools for changing your life in this book, at the very least you will be entertained.

Alan Cohen presents facts that are age-old in a humourous way and one that can easily knock the door to your heart. Above all, he is an honest individual who won't let you get lost in your world, provided you reas this book!

The author takes a no nonsense, yet lighthearted approach. He gets to the heart of the matter without making the reading feeling like a complete failure. Initially, I skimmed a couple a chapters that appealed to me. I was hooked and actually re-read the entire book in order. The author truly understands that the majority of the readers have some sort of religious/spiritual conviction. How many times has the clergy or well-meaning family member/friend beaten people into submission? Typically God, you pick your own, is used a club to keep you in line and justify staying in a horrible situation. Not in the book.... imagine the creator of the universe would like everyone to live to their fullest, be happy, and kind. Oh, and along the way you learn to weed out people and situations that are detrimental without having to trade them for some form of guilt.. The author never preaches, but offers real advice with a sense of humor. And you don't have all sorts of pesky exercises and journal writing.... You will never look at tomatoes the same way after reading this book.
