In the Caribbean for his best friend's wedding, ex special-ops officer and security expert Ryan McLean meets a beautiful woman in the hotel bar. Their connection is immediate and intense, and they spend a passionate night together with pleasure as their only goal.

But when Ryan wakes the following morning to discover the beautiful woman has vanished, along with millions worth of jewels from the safe of the Saudi prince staying in the suite next door, he realizes their meeting wasn't accidental and becomes determined to find her.

A notorious thief known to authorities only as the Dragonfly, Mariana Lora has one final job to complete before she's free from the oath that bound her to a life of crime, but the sexy-as-hell Marine she spent one explosive tropical night with is hot on her heels at every turn. She has to outwit him to stay out of jail, but fighting their magnetic attraction soon becomes a game neither one of them can resist.

When Mariana's last job goes dangerously wrong and she needs Ryan's help to survive, he has to decide if their game of cat and mouse is only a game, or if he can trust this beautiful thief with something no woman has ever stolen: his heart.

The star of this book's the incredibly rapid fire witty banter between bouts of incendiary Hate Sex. "Wicked Intentions" features my favorite Hero and Heroine of the Wicked Games series. Ryan's wonderfully good natured and sweet; a golden Good Ol' Boy but an observant Alpha wolf in disguise. Mariana's a calculating and perceptive international jewel thief with a fabulously rich and complex backstory. Mariana has an extreme temper when it comes to Ryan and his cocky and Golden Boy American ways. It's epically frustrating that Ryan sees through Mariana's every lie and misdirection and easily finds her whenever she disappears. J.T. Geissinger brings a spectacular "something" to the couple's magical at first sight chemistry. Particularly when Mariana's barely restraining the urge to stab Ryan in the neck while he giddily enjoys their "Hate Sex". The Romantic Thriller storyline is riveting and twisty with a seemingly unbeatable bad guy. J.T. Geissinger kills it with fabulous dialog, amazing chemistry, and blazing hot sex between this charming and engaging main characters. Ryan McLean has become one of my favorite Romantic Heroes in Contemporary Romance right now. He's the perfect balance of badass and sweet beautiful heart. The bad guy, Capo, is complex but easily so in that he's pure evil. He seemingly has all of the power and there's no way to truly get the upper hand. For Mariana there's no way to get out from under his reign of terror. Mariana's mentor and surrogate father-figure is dryly amusing, caring and at the same time he has a million secrets. "Wicked Intentions" brings security beast Conner, his new wife and hacker deluxe Tabby back. Happily they bring big and bold food blogger Darcy, her pint-sized "Love Schnitzel" Kia and teenage genius Juanita with them. I'm addicted to this Wicked Games series. This novel was provided, voluntarily read, and honestly reviewed.

It’s possible that I have new wrinkles on my face from the amount of time I spent smiling while reading Wicked Intentions. I can’t remember the last time a book made me smile and laugh so much, yet also had me freaked out by the villain and gasping at the intense chemistry and love scenes-which by the way were sprinkled with their own laugh out loud moments. This book has it all: well-developed plot, characters with depth, and vivid scenes that play out clearly in the reader’s mind. And, Ryan and Mariana may be one of my favorite book couples ever and J.T. Geissinger one of my new favorite authors. As the blurb above says, Ryan and Mariana meet at a Caribbean resort and there’s instant chemistry and, more importantly, an instant connection. Though they each “make” the other, recognizing the cunning abilities inherent in people who live in the shadows, they’re drawn together. Normally the “insta-love” we so often see feels like a means to an end, but Geissinger left no doubt in my mind that Ryan and Mariana belong together. After their night of passion and Mariana’s hasty retreat, readers are led on a chase which is both comical and action-packed. Wicked Intentions fulfills both parts of the Romantic Suspense genre perfectly as Mariana works to free herself from a madman. As far as heroines go, Mariana has it all. She’s strong and feisty, yet allows Ryan to draw out her vulnerabilities. She’s smart and sneaky (when necessary) and knows how to save herself. Yet, she has a past that’s left a brick wall around her heart and it’s Ryan that has to knock it down. And, make no mistake, Ryan is the man for the job. A few months back I fell head over heels in love with Damian Scott, a character on the TV show Strike Back. Ryan McLean is Scott to a “T”. I know Ryan is described as looking like a Hemsworth, but it was Sullivan Stapleton I pictured throughout. Ryan is Georgia born and bred with the good ole’ boy accent to prove it. He’s brilliant and goofy and sexy and dangerous. He uses quotes from Julie Andrews’ movies as security lines in his house. How could anyone not fall in love with the guy? One thing that separates a 4 star book from a 5 star book for me is the strength of the secondary characters. Though I joined the Wicked Games series on book 3 and was just meeting characters that have been around since book 1, I still felt like part of the family. Ryan’s “posse” was supportive and hilarious to include a rat named Elvis. Vincent Moreno, aka Capo, chilled me to the bone as the head of Cosa Nostra and Mariana’s diabolical boss. Her guardian, Reynard, who saved her as a child, was hilarious as he took on Ryan in a battle of wits that had me crying from laughing so hard. And, it wasn’t enough that Geissinger had me laughing and gasping, but I also cried at the end because she made the HEA something that felt incredibly important to me. 5 stars for Wicked Intentions. Heat level: 3.5 I received a copy of Wicked Intentions from InkSlingerPR and the author in exchange for honest feedback.

An explosive, suspenseful, thrilling read… This is the third book in the Wicked Games series that can be read as a stand-alone. On vacation security expert Ryan McLean meets a vibrantly stunning quick witted woman, a woman filled with deep dark secrets she hides but that he sees and wants to learn but first he wants her in his bed, their chemistry is downright combustible, she makes his blood burn. One night of steamy passion and he wakes to find he’s been played, she’s gone and so is the Saudi Prince’s necklace from the room above. She made a grievous miscalculation in using this mercenary for now he’ll track her to the ends of the earth if he has to. When you meet someone that unexpectedly moves you, in a way no one else has, you don’t let go of that rare prize that life has brought you. It’s also a matter of pride for such a man. The international jewel thief known by her trademark of a dragonfly, Mariana Lora is in the Caribbean on a job. She has one more left after this before she can retire. She didn’t expect the mark in the room she needed access to would be such an intense, beautiful, and deliciously sexy man. The depth of their attraction is dangerous to her mission. Can she allow herself to also steal some moments of pleasure before she drugs him? It’s out of character for her but this man makes her want his sinful promises. Wow! What an awesome storyline and protagonists. The author has paired a gorgeous international jewel thief, a master of disguises, with a sexy mercenary sporting a southern drawl that hides a genius level IQ. When they meet he sees what she shows no one, she sees that he is beautiful and dangerous to more than her mission, to her inner psyche. These two have a passionate, fiery chemistry, the dynamics, the dialogue, between them was fantastic, they each give as good as they get and the innuendoes were as amusing as they were incendiary. This reader was captivated from the beginning and did not see the absolutely insidious twist that changes your perceptions of everything you’d learned to that point. This book was an explosive, suspenseful, thrilling read with incredible exciting scenarios and wonderful descriptive prose. Within the pages we find deception and intrigue, the most cutting kind of betrayal, a depth of emotions that guts the reader, a heroine with a profound heartbreaking history, an alpha hero’s anguish and a painfully bittersweet yet absolutely marvelous ending. I loved this book! An advance reading copy was won from the publisher in a contest.

4.5 stars-- WICKED INTENTIONS is the third installment in JT Geissinger’s contemporary, adult WICKED GAMES erotic, romance series. This is security expert, mercenary, and ex special-ops officer Ryan McLean, and thief Mariana Lora’s story line. WICKED INTENTIONS can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story line is revealed where necessary. Told from dual first person points of view (Ryan and Mariana) WICKED INTENTIONS follows Mariana Lora-a world renowned, international thief known as the Dragonfly-as she endeavors to complete her latest assignment. Falling for Ryan McLean was never in the cards-Ryan is Mariana’s ticket to access millions of dollars in royal jewels-jewels that are going to pay off a debt and protect someone our heroine loves. But little does Mariana know that the man she has marked to gain access to the jewels, is a former special-ops officer who specializes in security and is all too aware that Mariana is hiding the truth about the who and what of her Caribbean vacation. What ensues is Ryan’s hunt for the truth, and Mariana’s struggle to break free of a debt that will never be paid. Mariana is desperate to protect someone she loves but a debt owed finds our heroine risking not only her life but also the life of someone back home. Trying to keep her true identity a secret is next to impossible when the former special ops agent suspects not all is right in her world. Mariana’s backstory is heartbreaking and dark. Ryan McLean’s Caribbean vacation just got a whole lot more interesting meeting the sultry and sexy woman whose secrets and lies push all of his over protective and alpha buttons. Ryan isn’t going to let go of the woman that calls to his heart but searching for Mariana becomes a little more complicated when the truth is revealed. The $ex scenes are intimate, erotic and intense. Mariana has but one rule-never to sleep with a mark- and Ryan’s presence will obliterate all sense for our story line heroine. The secondary and supporting characters include Metrix Security staff Connor and Tabitha (Wicked Sexy #2), Darcy and Kai, and fifteen year old genius Juanita, as well as Mariana’s friend and father figure Reynard, and crime boss Vincent Moreno. There is plenty of back and forth friendly banter between the Metrix group members. WICKED INTENTIONS has moments of humor and fun, danger, action and suspense, romance and love. The premise is intriguing and entertaining; the romance is seductive and passionate; the characters are colorful, dynamic and realistic-the friendships are fun and loving.

This was such a fantastic read. I've not been disappointed by this author so as soon as I got my hands on this, I dived right in. To say she outdid herself is an understatement! This book checked off so many of my book wants/needs that I could have easily re-read it as soon as I finished. This whole series has been such a great ride and to know an author just gets it better with each book, is icing on the cake. I think it's pretty obvious I would recommend this book to everyone. It has suspense, action, a little bit of dark, but also fun and humor. That is not an easy combination to make. JT Geissinger not only makes it work, she perfected it. My greedy little hands are asking for more! ARC provided by author.
